That was a rough race! Great vid man. I really enjoyed watching you race. Felt for you on the crashes, that sucks but you busted butt on it! Those trails fought you all the way.
Definitely could've done without the crashes but we'll chalk it up as a learning experience. Only my second race ever so I feel like I still did pretty well. Thanks for the encouragement!
Thanks! Pretty chunky in some places for sure but the park was so sick. Grand opening is May 7. If you’re on Da Right Coast lol you should look into getting a ticket
Stage 5! Holy jump lines! How did the spark hold up at jarods place? Im also on a spark now and I've yet to use it as a park bike but I plan on it from time to time at jarods place when it officially opens.
I mean I had no issues. It got pretty chunky at some sections so I'm sure more travel would've helped but I didn't feel like I was getting thrown around. Would 100% go back with the same bike.
Visiting Jarrods for the 1st time Friday so I've been watching your Jarrod vids here and on Vital (congrats). How long did you ride for on each visit before your legs were toast? How often do the shuttles run, every 15-20 mins?
I like to get there as soon as shuttles start running (10am) and leave as close to 5pm as possible. If I’m paying $54 I wasn’t to get my money’s worth. Typically I just do lap after lap and take a 30 min break around 1-2. The shuttle is typically back at the bottom right as you get there so you can do as many laps as you physically can. The shuttle is really efficient and if there are lots of people, they have 2 shuttles running in tandem. It’s so awesome man you’re going to have a blast.
@@_Aitch_ That place is nuts! Nothing prepares you for the steepness. Did one climb up upper squat and it blew out my legs lol. Tried but could not do lady bug. All I could do was simple green, double green, and senior discount, but those were really fun. They redid double green and added a lot of doubles. You literally made all the single/double blacks look easy. After riding there I can't even imagine how much harder windrock would be.
@@khoi_tran yeh upper squat rack is brutal. I just push the bike up the whole thing if I go up that way. It’s alright if you can’t do everything the first time. It took me multiple days of going to Jarrod’s to get the feel for everything… and I think that’s the best thing about Jarrod’s Place. You can ride double green, simple green, and senior discount all day and have a blast.

Best footage so far! Great Job!
Thank you! I had so much fun out there
That place looks sooo good. I know where I’m taking a trip to this summer! Nice riding.
Dirt was perfect and trails were awesome. Need to get back there when it opens and ride the ones that weren’t part of the race
101 dude got up and keep riding 🤙 this one got me thinking on going this year good stuff! Man ! Love that progression on every video!
Thanks! It's all about the progression. Gotta check out Jarrod's Place 100%
@@_Aitch_ this year for sure !
Awesome man! Saw your Stage 5 run in person. Can't wait till that place opens! Cheers!
Thanks dude! Need it to open up so I can work on clearing those 50 footers...
Nice race... that was gritty. Are you going to head out to this year's race with your new bike?
Looking forward to making the drive and visiting
It's worth it!
Impressive riding. Looked super chunky in spots.

@@_Aitch_ good to know! Look like such a fun place but holy crap some of those jumps are wild!
@@MillerRL96 Someone said the biggest was 50+ft... I need to get a little better before I'm hitting those haha
Dang, Jarod has been busy building one Hell of a Bike Park up there.
That's for sure... 15 trails and I'm sure there are more on the way
What'd you place? Best footage of this place I've been able to find, nicely done
Thank you! 13th in the 19-29 Amateur. Those two crashes on Stage 3 really hurt my time. We'll get em next time haha

With the blue 100% goggles? How’d you end up doing?
@@_Aitch_ no I had the purple and black yt Capra and I got a flat on top of stage 2 but if it wasn’t for that I would’ve been 4
