Thank you! Bought some Park Avenue in Merlot years ago and finally breaking them out for a medical school interview tomorrow. They weren't laced and you just saved me lots of time. Hope all is well on your side!
Nice video, very informative without getting boring. I own a pair of Park Avenues in Merlot and they are the most comfortable formal Oxfords in my shoe stable by far. You pretty much covered it all without being too stuffed shirt. Good job.

Only good tutorial out there, so much time wasted until I found your video. Thank you.
Thanks!
Thank you! Huge help.
Hey Tristan! Great video as always man. Just a heads up though AE only uses the JR soles on their Cordovan line of shoes.
Interesting. The AE salesman told me otherwise.
Hanger project tie shoes
Super helpful. Great video!
Thank you!
Excellent video!
Great vid thank you. If the V shape by the laces is too wide do I just need a wider shoe? Thanks
Great video.I just ought a pair of seconds.
Why do you have that v shape around the laces? I have the same issue. Is that normal? Should be fully close?
Not sure what you mean.
Very stylish, prefer a brogue though.
Look at the Fifth Avenues for a captoe with broguing.
You mentioned Alden shoes, which do you find more comfortable, AE of Alden?
Alden but not that AE isn't comfortable.
Thought u were an Alden guy...
Mostly although I have several AE videos in my channel, among other brands too like Red Wing, etc.
