methane condenses at minus 182,5 centigrade/ 90,65 kelvin/-296,5 Farenheit. id reccomend increasing its pressure it is alot easier, yet this also contains soot particles and carbon monoxide, the toxic carbon monoxide, sepparating the two is not impossible just rather tricky. compressing both of them togeather gives problems too. but i say Go For it
ya that is one big charcoal oven. I make my own charcoal to make Black Powder. Just a Suggestion, my cooker is allot smaller not sure if it would work but i sealed the top accept for 3 large holes that i put long pipes on top of and then i could light the top of the smoke stack and burn off the smoke. maybe a bit safer for a cooker that size but i did it just to burn off the smoke.
raidnuker you can use a paint can with a hole in the lid. Don't light the smoke. When the smoke turs clear put damp sand on let it cool and you have 100% charcoal
