That's a good idea. I used 1/2 because of the fittings, but you are right that 3/8 should be fine with the amount of flow most tractors produce. I will put that in the description also. Thanks.
This setup has worked for me for years with no issue. I used this same setup even as a kid on our farm. It's not as convenient as a 3rd function kit, but it sure comes in handy if you don't have that installed already. Links to all the parts are in the description of this video. $208.94 for this exact setup on Amazon right now in 16'. I just measured the length I'd need for my LS MT357HC at 16' exactly. I've already got a 3rd function, which is great while using the grapple, but this will be nice for using with my loader mounted auger so I don't burn the 3rd function up while endlessly drilling through rock.
You can use either one, but I recommend using the one that makes most sense in your situation. If you need constant flow, use the detent ports. If you just need open and close use the standard ports.
I used 3/8" hose on mine, works fine, plenty of flow, easier to route, and cheaper too!

Thanks for the link to the couplers. They have so many options - it is hard to find the right one for skidsteers.
Thank you sir.

Thanks for the info. That has went up. It was closer to $100 when I put it all together. That rear detent will work well when using the auger.
How do you control the grapple?
Using the lever for the rear remote.
Do you use the valve with the detent?

$100??? those fittings alone are $100, and that doesn't include the hoses.
Yeah, everything has gotten so much more expensive since then.
