As a NZer this is such a blessing! I was a youth worker and we were really pushed to use the Maori health model Te Whare Tapa Wha. Something about it bothered me so much I tried to avoid it. I now realise it promoted identity in culture and themselves, nothing about identity in Jesus. Everyone is also really pushed to include Maori culture in everything, prayers in Playcentre, and it's essentially racist to not participate. I've refused to do Maori prayers as often they are praying to things other than God. The government are trying to create division where there is none, most people accept and love Maori people and equally respect them. We could get in a lot of trouble for suggesting certain cultural things are demonic so I'm glad you're providing this knowledge. It does not mean there is anything against Maori as a people but my husband and I have discussed some of their generational issues could be curses or demonic and deliverance may finally set some free. Thank you for speaking about deliverance in NZ.
This is great because summing up all these experiences from you and others help put together thoughts about what could the church do to work around problems and how to pray about some things and find some answers, even with verses that we read but…we gotta read more the Bible anyway and experience through the service for others you describe and through helping others some of those things too thanks God and you guys
Can you guys address Francis of Assisi phrase preach the gospel use words if necessary. Many say we should not talk too much about Jesus but look like him. But i see in bible if we are ashamed of him on earth he will bw ashamed of us before the Father. I guess its about being led by HS who to share with words
