I knew it was good but never seen the stats till now. I can see why there’s always 2 or more in a match
This tank is the prime example why Tier 10 feels so discouraging to play right now. High alpha tanks that camp and ruin your game in one shot. No one wants to push the battle and you can't blame them. The top 11 tanks with the most battles played at tier 10 recently are all high alpha TD's (minus the AVRE at #6).
This shows an unbelievable shift in playstyle to camping at the back, pen every shell with no need to aim for weak points without getting spotted. This has nothing to do with the TD contract since there are plenty of other TD's at tier 10 to achieve the contract. I don't know if there is a way to fix the mistake they made with these tanks other than a nerf, which we know they won't do. Best to just stay away from tiers 9 & 10.
Play a light tank then and scout them lol. Yall cry way to hard
@@tylorsmith7580 sounds like a great way to get one shot. Tank destroyers have better camo than light tanks anyway and they’re more like in a bush which would make them impossible to spot unless they shoot. So good luck

Limit the matchmaking to four TDs per team. Camping TD players will have to wait longer in the queue.
Would you rather play the type 58 and face the calliope? (or whatever its called) they only want to push the cold war narrative because their entirely too stupid to put 2 and 2 together. Dont take what I say against the CC here. Hes a good dude and he wants what we all want. But were never getting it. So play another game 😥...
We really need a flat increase of hp pools with all this ridiculous dpm and alpha damage.

It won't happen, but one option would be to increase the armor and HP of heavy tanks, because perhaps then the teams would change their ultra-defensive behavior in battles a little.
I also think that nerfing accuracy and dispersion when autoaiming would help dramatically
@@EcliipseHD I agree, however, in this case we will have conflicts with the "rule" of not nerfing premiums.
Isn't this also the Obj 120 in cold war? I've never checked the stats. In 5 days time from 16/5/24 that TD only contract finishes, and hopefully we can get back to having games without 5,6 or 7 TDs in a game.
I agree with your comments about the one shot kill, but let’s be honest for a moment, I definitely felt a stirring in my loins when you got the vanguard, vanguards are exempt from sympathy 😂
This tank was supposed to go into CW but after the mistake WG just left it .......camo is ridiculous too😢

One thing that always got me is that it has a 152mm gun that does 950 alpha but the American X TDs has a 155mm gun that does 750 alpha and the obj 705a has a 155mm gun that only does 650 alpha, make it make sense

Since the Taran doesn't technically cost gold they could nerf it. All it needs is an 850 alpha gun with 4-5 seconds extra reload and it'd be on par with all the other TDs.
I thought ppl paid gold for it way earlier, bc if they did, they ain't gonna be able to nerf it

tarans don't bother me that much - they play like any high-alpha destroyer - get close to it and it's dead. and most maps, anyone who's played the game enough will know where these types of destroyers like to camp - so, just use the maps cover to work around, and back to them. i will say, it's vision needs nerfed so it can't spot for itself - the camo is too good and the the tank is too fast to allow this high-damage TD good spotting ability. the problem is there are too many high-alpha TDs in matches. the last couple months, i've been noticing that tier10 matches consist of at least 8 (and up to 12!) destroyers on both teams - just like arty, there should be limits - there shouldn't ever be more than 4 TDs on either team.

incredible camo-physically bigger than most light tanks but can't be seen.
They could nerf it easily, reduce its stats by say 20% and then REFUND 20% of the gold to the owners.

This isn't a side vs side thing, eclipse reviews tanks with his honest opinions and plays wot. That's it. He's not out protesting or crap like that, if you don't like the game, don't play it, if you don't like the content, don't watch it.

Peraonally i stopped playing this game after the intorduction to the avery and the taran. They are ruining game flow and making the game completely not fun to play at higher levels. Ruined the enjoyment for me.
Armor tanks are only bad because you load prem and auto pen. Funny how you danced around that one

I agree, hard hitting tanks are not that bad, but when they can delete over 950 to 1250 hitpoints with one shot, it is annoying and damage several of your modules in one shot, it is very frustrating, hell even the FV4005 in Cold war is broken becuase for some reason it can move up to 60 KMH and almost snap shot whiel moving, they need to nerf it there, it is the only real problem in Cold war ERA 1, and in ww2 you have your culprits as well, hell for some reason you have a premium tier X mercenary with the FV 183mm gun on in and in cold war you also have a mercenary again ERA 2 with the FV 183MM gun too! also would like to add that the Sturmtiger has too much armor, is waaay faster than the tiger 1 (even tho it is heavier) and can do over 1300 Damage to a heavily armored heavy tank on the front, yes i get it is the STURMTIGER, but man remove armor and speed.
After playing the utter crap that comes earlier in the sturm line , I don't resent anyone that has a Sturmtiger .The Taran and e279 on the other hand should not be anywhere near WWII.
@@nigelbrooks5235 You see that is to blame the developers, every tier should be fun to play, and every type of tank shoud get pros and cons as usual, the problems i that the Developers decided to make tanks like the BAR one of the most annoying things to play, it is their fault for making such tank a pain in an ARCADE game, so it is always us getting the but of their decisions.
I have the Taran but I don't like to play with it. If it got spotted it's dead. So the only option is to stay as far back as possible to not get spotted. I don't like that kind of playstyle.

Ive been taken out by taran so many times, just seeing it in the line up gives me anxiety. Very formidable opponent, invaluable teammate.

The only thing better than one shotting a Vanguard is removing an Arty. Picked up this one with FreeXP and played it a few times. Still having fun grinding away at tech tree tanks.
Tank destroyers should have there own game mode where they just camp at the back and trade derp shots at each other

I think arty is more annoying personally if there's a tank that ruins games it's arty, they should have a game mode with no arty
Okay so Wargaming stops arty from killing you in 1 or 2 shots and then adds 2, 3, 4 tanks to the game that can kill you in 1 shot. Wait, wait it gets better, then they allow 3-7 of these things in 1 match. This tank and others like it are why I am not spending another dime on WOT.

This tank and others is one of the reasons I stopped playing the game.
the light and tow tanks ruined the game more even than fools tank fv ,ww2 mode is ruined by definition cos of the +-2 class.

I'm love My JG PZR E100 TD I remember a game I had I was the last one alive a I was surrounded on 3 flanks bye a platoon of 4x tarans they were probably 200m something like that all I know it was close quarters combat & I couldn't spot them even spot them wen they were shooting me 😂 it's so unfair as you say makes every TD irrelevant I refuse to purchase the Tarran I won't help contribute to toxicity of pay to win gameplay .....the tarran should of never been added to WW2 🤬. Also There seems to be a pattern with season passes Last season we had the lack luster highlander & jap tanks so we might get something op coming soon I'm Dreading next season pass I really hope they don't add something broken 😂 hopefully wargaming stops destroying W.O.T.C

Not sure how it’s so OP has no armor and slow reload !! I play it and it’s good but not super OP not like the panzer 5/4 in tier 5
Simple, you just do not know how to play it. A good player, not great, will hammer out over 6000 raw damage in this thing without even trying.
Hahaha I own both. The panzer is a lill demon, but it can be dealt with, and it's camo sucks. Can't side scrape bc of huge tumor of a cupola Taran with 9 slot max camo commander can stay hidden. While 5/4 does 110 damage on its pea shooter, the Taran can deal 1k almost, and remain hidden. You cant even compare the two in terms of fear level, lol.
It not over powered I love playing it the centurion AV is most overrated powered tank in the game
