This absolutely helps. In addition to building muscle memory, the mental conditioning makes it much less scary when you take a trick to the streets.

This totally makes sense, I first heard about it in regards to Andrew Reynolds whom apparently would obsess over a single trick for a while. Like go to local skatepark and just do nollie cabs all day (see his nollie cab down Carlsbad for results). Obviously this level of obsessiveness worked out amazing for him with his part in stay gold but for the every day skater wouldn't there be the risk that they lose all their other tricks and just become a specialist at a few tricks? Also it does seem like this takes a lot of the fun of the spontaneity out of skating, admittedly you lose that but might gain more from the satisfaction of landing the other tricks, but it is something to think about none the less

Hey dude I love your channel I've been learning kickflips into grinds, but haven't landed one yet. You should do a video on Kickflip FS 5050 and Kickflip FS Tailslide. Cheers bro

Never skate less than 4 times a week. If all u have is 10 min seshes every other day due to commute, then don't waste time. Problem is not being able to eat popcorn and hearing other skateboards pop to hurt ur eyes to predictably see a trick not landed as typical. I'm convinced every so parts of this earth has buncha onemanarmies. I've learned to have fun with it is all i'm saying.

“Never skate less than 4 times a week” bruh, everyone’s situation is different. You even contradict yourself with have fun at the end. Theres more to life than skating. Work smart, not hard.

@@maxsanchez764 The sessions i'm blessed with are not long at all. I have to never waste time and it's a fun drive. It's purposeful. Not complaining, but I have to keep it up. I hope you can or cannot relate.
