This is a refreshing course for me, I have a Montessori school in Israel and Montessori is not yet well know here so it’s very far and few of the Montessori method here. Keeping in touch with well known knowledge and Montessori influence and community is the best support. Thank you. ❤

We do that and call it "quiet hand". It works beautifully.

What we do if I'm taking with my husband and my son interrupt us to tell his dad something about his day

When your son interrupts, it's a great opportunity to teach respectful communication gently. Here’s one way to handle it:
Acknowledge His Enthusiasm: Quickly let him know you’re glad he wants to share, but remind him that everyone takes turns in conversations.
Teach a “Pause and Wait” Gesture: Introduce a simple signal (like holding up a finger) to remind him to wait. When he sees it, he knows you’ll listen as soon as you’re done.
Follow Through: Once you and your husband finish, turn to your son and invite him to share. This way, he learns patience while feeling valued.
This approach helps him understand boundaries without feeling dismissed.
You can also watch our video on How to Interrupt and guide your child in the same way. I used to face the same issue and I tried this. It worked wonders with my children.
