Alaska Dalton Highway, North of the Arctic Circle between Coldfoot and Deadhorse

This video is on the Dalton. North of Coldfoot after leaving Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay. There is fresh snow - on July 15th. The engineering marvel Alaska Pipeline is off to the left as it travels southbound towards pump station four and beyond

Hey Lazy Photographer! How did you keep your drone in sync with your vehicle as you traveled north? How many miles was this shoot? Amazing! By the way, I worked as an apprentice pipeline welder-welder helper on the construction of that pipeline, the Alyeska Trans Alaska Pipeline. It goes from Prudhoe Bay (top of Alaska) to Valdez (ice free port) almost 800 miles long. As an Alaskan, I was one of the few who worked in the Pipeliners Local 798 as an apprentice pipeline welder. Prior to that, I had gone to film school at California Institute of the Arts in the seventies. 😎😎
