Thanks for the post!!! great band!! i have Ball Power, got for $5:00 second had in excellent condition! I havent seen this clip in years.Lobby Loyd was one of the greatest guitarists ever! he produced numerous bands including X (Australian not L.A)
this is amazing stuff, thanks for sharing these oldies but for sure goodies with us C B fans! god, how I wish music sound more like this today. Janis, Singapore
Henry Rollins apparently owns all of Lobby's albums. I've fair dinkum been living under a rock for 36 years! Although I had heard of Lobby Loyde, I'd never heard his music. Devil's Disciple is awsome. I can hear a little Malcolm Young/ACDC in there. Phil Rudd had a stint with the Coloured Balls in the early 70s.
yeah.. me too. thats why im here looking at this now. I've never heard them before last night! There is so much good Aussie music from back in the day, its real shame the Aus music scene is so lame now.... I need to find these guys on vinyl or cd....
Unless you were a kid in the early seventies you wouldnt have heard of them .The Music establishment has forgotten them and many others from the era. They dont exactly fit into the Golden Oldies scene and they are too old to make in with the modern heavy metal fans.
Saw them live a couple of times in the day. A headblowing experience not easily forgotten.
totally in awe and so fekin sorry i missed out on this band for so long. delicious music.

Come on ABC, get your act together and put GTK out on DVD instead of fucking cooking shows.
RE# fawksian21,
Does Lobby Loyde have much recognition in America ?.
That song is on 'Golden Miles, Austrailian Progressive Rock', which I have.
Marc Maron WTF,sent me here...........'Endless Boogie'
this stuff is so hard to find. :(
Right , thanks . I did read that Kurt Cobain was supposed to have owned one of his ablums.
Damn I missed that. All I saw was that dodgy Ray Burgess "Flashez" show that was on a bit later.
Heavier than 10 heavy things
Thta is NOT Phil Rudd on drums.
FUCKING BONZA
tuff az
Maybe someone from the ABC would care to explain that one.
Anyhow have a Winfield....
Lobby was a musical genius* influenced big acts. Kurt Cobaine credits him.
FAAAARRRKKKK! Just the fact that Kurt Cobain even KNEW of Lobby Loyde freaks me out! AweSOMMMME!
Henry Rollins as well.
I doubt it.
