I don't want Taylor and Harry back together, but I would love them to become friends again. Like just IMAGINE a duet between them! It's hard being a fan of both of them since a lot of the others in both fandoms (especially Harry's no tea, just the truth) hate on the other a lot. A song together would definitely break the stereotype that exes can't be friends.
Yeah, i do hope that they could become friends again, even they were exes, it depends on the maturity or perspective of each other, whether they wanted to hold grudge or not. Exes can be friends sometimes. Tho, its already been years now, they may have some respect for each other until now and recently I heard they gave support to each others, so I guess its cool. I know its hard to ship them due others fandom, as for me I stan of what I support, spread some love and no hate for other shippers. People just don't write songs like these for just anybody. Look at style or 2 ghosts or as a matter of fact let's look at 1989 which tells one story combined. All those hidden messages piece up everything together. 🥺❤

Oh gosh, I recently fell in love with Afterglow, and I'm crying over this😭. At first, I just really find it amazing how these songs fit together in the same beat, but it broke me when I realize that this could have been both their feelings just after they broke up. Like, I'm happy for the both of them now, and I movef on from Haylor, but this freakin' mash up gave the same vibes as "When you started crying, baby I did too. When the sun came up, I was looking at you. Remember when we couldn't take the heat? I walked out and said I'm setting you free, but the monsters turned out to be just trees. When the sun came up, you're looking at me; I remember" from Out of the Woods.
And the vocals at the end is freakingly genius. Cardigan fits falling in terms of aesthetic. Clean fits Falling in terms of the melody of the song and how poetic it is for both songs to be opposite, but Afterglow combined with Falling just broke my heart because it was too beautiful. I wish Taylor and Harry would finally collab one day.

Afterglow is something where Taylor apologizes for breaking it up but in Haylor it was Harry who messed it up so maybe Falling is about her as it's also similar to Out of The Woods and Cardigan just suits the story. They do talk to each other with their songs. I wish they would come back.
Falling is about Camille Rowe, the model Harry dated before Fine Line came out. It is confirmed in interviews that their breakup broke his heart like never before. Afterglow is about admitting that you have been wrong in a fight with the person you love very much. It is about Joe Alwyn. It is confirmed by Taylor that all the love songs in Reputation and Lover are about him.
I get that you miss Haylor, but that ship has sailed and honestly both Camille and Joe are pretty dope, it's worth checking them out.
