"It's a strange paradise."
If there was one way to sum up life in a lyric that would be it.
Bingo
such a beautiful song. based off such a simple chord progression but it is so melodic and yearning. beach house is a rare band that can blend somber simplicity with such meaningful impact
It's not as simple as it sounds!
Surely you've never listen to sigur ros. Download Takk
W k that’s not even the best Sigur Ros Album and takk ain’t that great. Kveikur, Agætis Byrjun, & () are all better imho
Sveekins it really is a simple chord progression lol.
i never know what to listen after this song,,, any other song is just not this intense and deep help
+Sof Corts Start another Beach House album, that's all you can do...
rzarectz true lol
Sof Corts PPP by them maybe ? That's how I feel about that song lol
Levitation is just this song reversed, the end of this song fades can fade into Levitation, they practically sampled themselves: ua-cam.com/video/176PyfuifFU/v-deo.html
Wild for sure
From dark to light - sunrise has never been so beautiful. It's my favourite Beach House track.
Same. This track and this performance of it are the definition of epic.
Honestly, Victoria is such a goddess
Amen
Yea
She is.
the drums... 6:20 and on .. can't .... handle.... face melted.
Still one of thee greatest songs ever. The crescendo towards the end is sheer ecstasy
One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands recorded in one of my favorite locations.
Somewhere across this old sea bed desert is the Guadalupe Mountains National Park.
When I mention that this area is one of my favorite places on Earth, I get scoffed at.
People too often look at the face value of things without diving in.
You have to dive in to something here. Preferably, yourself.
If anyone here gets a chance to visit this area, do it. It's not entertaining, but it is enlightening.
wise words
Every time I listen to a song by this band I start crying straight away/their songs are sad, fantastic music, they are so cool
This and The Hours are seriously the two best songs I have ever heard.
plasticbooty i rEally like On The Sea too
Wild.
Other People.
Agreed that this and On the Sea are their two best songs but for some reason whenever I’ve seen them live they never play either one
we are kindred spirits, then
Damn. That is so genius! I discovered Beach House just recently, last month I think, and I fell for it hard! My favorites are Irene, Myth, Take Care, Heart of Chambers, etc. They're perfect!
mine too!!!!
Xx
Yes
8 years later.. listen to rough song if you havent already! cheers :)
I can relate to the falling hard part. Haven't been this into a band ever. And I've been around for a while.
I wish that this song never ended
i get you
this song grew on me. I used to hate this song but I don't know I listen to it while night driving because it's a strange paradise
Wonderful track.... I can hear some Slowdive's influence in this one. So much love
Hot damn, coming back to this album is so damn GOOD!
mi q
Agree - this tune is one of my Beach House favorites...The drummer is great in this too as song builds to crescendo
Make me cry.
Makes*
- Hey, te amo -
This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written
La vuelvo a escuchar y nunca me dejará de provocar la misma sensación de cuando la escuché por primera vez. Esta canción marcó mi vida. Espero con mucho amor a Irene
Such a beautiful song.
Beautiful and Eerie AF
Though you hardly know her
The light's on its way
The hand that rests upon it
Still wanna stay
No way of recognizing
The cat knows the call
Fair child is rising
There's no mystery at all
It's a strange paradise
It's a strange paradise
You'll be waiting
You'll be waiting
It's a strange paradise
One of my fav Beach House songs. Always takes me to another place.
Who's still here in May 2022?
how do you even dislike bro
How are all the comments on this so old ? After all this time I forever still come back to this video
I discovered them few days back and I'm in love ,I live for music like this ✨
Whoever thought of getting them to play as the sun comes up is a genius
this is crazy i literally can’t with how perfect this is
un viaje a lo mas profundo de los sueños! estoy obsesionado con ellos, no puedo dejar de escucharlos!

Irene was special to me in a way that I now understand. Ty
Its so good to see Drummer working at the end
Pure bliss...for me, from Italy, these atmospheres are really amazing ! Thanx
Love this song. 4:47 is an awesome shot.
This performance is actually better than the album, I think
This song was the worst in the album, i think.
@@luv_sic have you reevaluated your decision yet?
I disagree cause after this song ends your hit with another banger and the bonus track wherever you go compliments this song so well
Do we all agree that Victoria is a goddess? I get so mesmerised by her voice. It feels like I’m reading a Murakami novel 🥺❤️
Wow! Such a beautiful sounds! I can keep playing there songs over and over again. Thank you Beach House. I hope to see you in the Netherlands soon.
almost my favourite of Beach House!
Prepping for the new album Friday is bringing me back to my favorite Beach House song. Over and over again.
This gives me goosebumps it's so good.
Rip ChristineMarie.ForeverLovingYou.rnb

The combination of this song and Wherever You Go makes a great closing to this album

It's so sad that I can only up-vote this video once.
Victoria is a Goddess, a beautiful witch and everything in between
Beach House's music is too powerful it has risen the sun
I love Beach House nd for me Bloom is one the most personal and sublime albums of them
holis viva cichurro
Just what I needed, another platonic love.

It's a strange pair of dice.
It's a strange pair of dice
It's the greatest song ever.
Of all fucking time.
Don't @ me.
Aidan R-T I fully agree
♥️🌻
The ones who speak to us usually disappear from our view. The ones who utter nonsense, continue on and become global hero's . It's a game they play. There are many out there that get it!
