Man you’re an insanely skilled player, and I mean this with no offense, but is anyone getting tired of watching tennis in general turn into a grinding extreme topspin heavy defensive baseline sport?
Not really. Don't get me wrong, I love a good mix of serve and volley and trying to go for winners, but as I consider myself to be a player who grinds and uses topspin on the court, I really resonate with this and appreciate how refined these players' groundstrokes are and their ability to play in long rallies.
Nice to see another video, it's really interesting to see the clear difference in balance and quality of strokes between yourself and Sam. (No offense intended to Sam, just a comment about relative development of play.)
nice video! just an ideia, i think you should record some pointplay videos challeging your training friends to play like a set or a tie break... it will be nice
Would you say your technique has change/improved since you’ve been in the states? I’ve watched your vids for years (from before you went to the states) and it does look like your forehand technique has changed a little (I could be wrong tho haha) but just curious if it’s something the coaches over there have seen that they could improve to make game even stronger then it already was. Or have you changed it to adapt to the hard courts over in the states?
Good observation and yes I think my technique and overall game has improved simply due to the amount of training we do. But it was not the coaches who changed it. I did. The coaches focused more on the mental and physical side
Love the videos, hope that I can play against you one day, I really don’t know how to identify my level anymore but let’s say I would be your level, on a good day, maybe higher but it depends on everything mentally and physically to me 😅👊🏽
love watching these vlogs! so good to see you hitting with the new freshman! keep up the hard work!
Thank you !
One of the take always from this blog is how high your shots clear the net. Something for me to think about and work on!
just one word INSPIRATIONAL
