Storm Collectables makes PERFECT figures. Like literally PERFECT or dahm near PERFECTION. Let's be honest. They dont even break a sweat. Nd they're selection of Characters they choose to produce is genius.
@@slumppa3034 100% agree with you. you get what you pay for and storm collectables is a good example
@@goblinmob Jada honestly knocked SF out tha Park. At that price point, they should make SF they're signature Brand of Figs. Kinda like how Hasbro is Married to Marvel😂
Yeah, I remember those times, I was 10 in 1990, I believe that’s the first time I saw SF2 in the arcade, except that I very rarely had quarters to play😢
they were great times to have grown up in🙏
I’m assuming these are the old moulds from god knows how many years ago when they originally came out
i believe so. they definitely have a dated feel to them like they were old stock but new if that makes sense.
@@goblinmob they look old style too, back when storm was more about the bulky look.
i can see how one may argue thats how bulky they are in the video game but you are correct they should be 30% more slim.
@@goblinmob was storms style at the beginning wasnt it that more bulky design they gave figures, they’ve skimmed down and make stuff more proportional these days but still with a flavour of their style
for sure, glad they evolved…for the exception of the jointless arms. two of the bad brothers i have joints frayed. they were posed in a position over nite and the plastic broke down that fast. i need to make a short video on that.
Oddly enough I think they are trying to compete with JADA TOYS. But at half the size , a quater (literally) of the price and all the articulation........... YOU LOSE (street fighter voice)
😂 …jada toys is 1/4 of storm price. cant beat that
@@jura2003 😁feliz ano nuevo tambien!!
By the way.
Where was our parents? Seriously? I used to walk to a drug infested laundromat where they had sf2 arcade. I probably had a quater or 2 to play. One day i found a bag of washers (for bolts) they was the same size and weight of a quarter..... i played all day. Or i used to stuff pay phones up with tissue to catch returned quarters. We was a different breed lol my 7 year old couldn't fathom. Lol
good memeories! sounds like we both grew up fast lol for me never met pops and mom was off doing her thing in another city so i lived with family and friends who took me in. even that young the sense of survival kicks in.
@goblinmob I actually don't know how we did it. Lol I was a latch key kid . A whole bunch of unsupervised minors lol but it made us stronger. Now here we are doing OK in life ,enough to purchase 100.00 action figures. Lol somehow it worked out lol
i feel you bro i came up the same. despite my situation i always had people i met bless me with strong morals. i had a strong black woman who had two sons whom became like my own brothers take me in all the time. that was the only feeling of peace i ever got, im thankful for their love. …haha yes sir, does feel good being able to buy these figures being older. im sure youre like me and had nothing as a kid. feels even better having these things as adult.
@@goblinmob exactly. Making up for lost time lol
1,000%.
For the price tag, dang, the articulation are sucks. They can do better, but they didnt.
agreed. these are definitely disappointing
Nah. Storm Collectables are the FIRST company to EVER produce PERFECT figures. Minor issues maybe, but really they really produce Perfect figures without breaking a sweat.
@@slumppa3034cant even pose hadoken properly. Take a look at jada.
@@nujhumshonda8788 u probably havent been into figures THAT long. But fyi, Storm STARTED a wave when it comes to figure articulation/detail design. Ever since they've hit the forefront years ago, even companies like Hasbro are just catching onto. But the reason Jada is So amazing IS because they capture THESE revolutionary designs at a REVOLUTIONARY price range.
@@nujhumshonda8788to sum it up. I Like Jada but I consider Storm the Big Brother. Im collecting both.
they look good and they have all the articulations but that range....it is not enough....
agreed. definitely not enough.
