Bismarck is a well designed "general" character imo. She provides buffs to her allies but doesn't rely on them to not be useless. She carries KMS theme of her being best while working with other KMS units. I find this theme amazing and impleneting it in gameplay makes KMS fleets unique and let them shine in their own way.
Bismarck being a downgrade compared to Tirpitz stat wise does make sense historically, since Tirpitz is basically an upgrade to Bismarck, including some fixes to problems like cannon placement and a better radar, upgrades to parts like the armor near the top and additions like torpedoes. I also love how Bismarck is basically a buff mad lad to all German ships, matching how while she was afloat she was regarded as a symbol of the German’s engineering prowess and naval power. Even how she basically needed the almost all of the British ships nearby to sink her might have been a testament to her strength as a symbol.
It was more a lol at how bad UK ships were. The uk adhered to the naval pact after ww1 but germany and america laughed and said f that. So the uk made cardboard ships and everyone else made proper armoured ships.
Historically the crew actually tried to scuttle him while getting bombarded to hell and back by the Royal Navy and he STILL refused to go down until a well placed torpedo finally sunk him.
@@birubu Not sure, you mean the torpedo that finally sunk the Bismarck? I believe that was the Dorsetshire. The ship was already listing badly and the Dorsetshire had to try several times before it finally worked.
*Bismarck in Azur Lane* Best ship ever. Nice buff for the whole German fleet, and huge secondary range. A fine investment indeed. *Bismarck in WoWS* Getting detonated by a 1000 HP Amagi after miss her from 10km away *Amagi* : Ah... ahahahaha. *Bismarck* : REEEEEEE.....
@@kysforreal123 Depends on how you define tanky. Both Yamato and Iowa had greater displacement and protection and would therefore easily be considered "tankier" by any definition imo. Littorio offers very similar displacement with likely better protection (only "likely" because the Littorios had a rather exotic armor scheme that practically never saw its intended use so it's harder to guess whether it would've worked as intended). Then there's South Dakota and King George V with a significantly better armor scheme, but a much lower displacement. Bismarck (or at least her hull) could definitely take significant punishment, but it's questionable to call her the tankiest when even some lighter ships had better armor protection. When it comes to titans like the Yamato and Iowa class, it's very hard to argue that Bismarck could take as much punishment as them, considering they didn't just have a better armor layout, but also displaced more.
@@Tepid24 But to be sincere, that was a very specific situation. The AA guns of Bismarck was literally to advanced to get down some little biplanes, which is ironic, but Bismarck still is a monster of battleship

I can suggest a KMS Fleet that might work ñwñ -Main Fleet: Bismarck(Flagship), Tirpitz and Graf Zeppelin -Vanguard Fleet: Z23/Z46(either FP or AA, up to you), Roon(main FP+Shield skill) and Eugen(for extra FP+another shield skill)
I use a similar setup for my Ironblood fleet. I'm not really happy with Eugen though, as she is just a straight downgrade from Roon. However there aren't really any good alternatives. I'll give Leipzig retrofit a try when it arrives on global. Her relatively high AA stat will help counter the plane spam in later worlds and her cruiser buff will make Roon even stronger.
The Bismarck-class Battleships are some of my favorite warships in history they all have quite a lot of background behind them and are quite fun researching, What makes it even more fun is comparing the small differences between the 2. I have researched this for over 4 years and have been a massive fan of Naval Technology, I have been waiting for Bismarck since I started to play just around 11 months ago. I got Bismarck, Tirpitz and Prinz oathed due to there historical past. Thank you for the Video and keep up the good work could we maybe get a video on the Priority Ship Roon?
If you oath Bismarck, the oath bonus and her affection to 200 give 12%, so she will have *447 FP* (same as the Tirpitz) Her max FP potential is *662*, if you have heavy shell and white shell of course! 😂 (watch out from the crit)😂 "laugh in kriegsmarine"
The reason they might have problems with AA is that both ships met their demise by planes. With Tirpitz being sunk by them and Bismarck being hit in the rudder by a plane making her turn in a circle and turning into a target for planes and ships hunting her.
That and there wasn't a massive focus on AA at that point in the war. And it was more in the Pacific theater that you see the ridiculous amounts of AA barrels on the ships.
I used her with my "Grind for Roon" fleet. However, now that I (finally) have Roon fully researched, it's time for the Royal Navy BBs to step in so I can get Monarch.
The extended CL gun range is really useful in PVP, because you can pretty much always hit the enemy vanguard. So in a way you vanguard have an additional CL, that doesn’t easily sink. And by the way I have Bismarck at lv115, currently my highest level ship 😂
"it will probaly be a while befor she returns" I started playing AL at the start of the event, and on second last day, i finally got her. She was my first, and sole Main Fleet Iron Blood ship just until last week, where i got Graf Zepplin and Tirpitz.

Bismarck's buffs are nice but I've noticed while autoing the current event C's and D's that her barrage often misses Sirens entirely. It is a really short ranged barrage.
yeah one of my favorite battleships in World of Warships is the BISMARCK with 11.3km of secondaries, german thicc armor, hydro consumable, and the special camo for her, and one thing soon i must get his sister ship the Tirpitz and btw one more thing, if you are playing WoWs, the bismarck has been buffed the dispersion of main battery guns and maximum dispersion for secondaries, has been increased.
Bismarck is in top 3 of my favourite ships. And the moment in that event where the submarine got blessing from Bismarck... Oh man, that was amazing even without any sound.
A few moments, that i just wanna say: 1) On event we have item, that reduce dmg debuff for the backline, soooo... Yeah, hello mob fleet. 2) Her long-range secondary weapon is about absolutely... I don,t know, useless? Comparing with all other battleships, there is huge amount of debuffs ( - 35% dmg, -20% efficiency, only 2 shots against 3 for another backline defenders), that destroying her defender capabilities. And what worse, for those huge attack range there is only one weapon, that have optimal spread to inflict damage at all. 3) Iron blood faction have one of the most beast and monstrousity vangard at whole game, consisting of Z-class destroyers. Do you ever try to combine Z1, Z23 and Z46?
@@richie_23 At max skill level, my Bismarck and Tirpitz are able to hit most bosses with their secondaries. So it's a lot more useful than just against suicide boats.
Bismarck has been my favorite ship so far (only competitors would be z23, Roon and Belfast... but they're still a bit behind). She's been my cornerstone for Roon grinding and is still my number one choice for siren hunting. She's my first maxed out lvl 120 ship with fully levelled equipment. she can "solo" some of the daily quests too (poor scharnhorst, eating 120k damage in one salvo most not be pleasant). I also really like her design and personality. She's a great ship and a great wifu. German engeneering at its best :P and her theme (from sabaton) really does her service :D now, if only the event her sister and graff zeppelin stars in would come back so that I can finally nail my kms fleet together.
Ironic Fact: Idea Factory or Yostar ships Bismarck with Hood, crosswave even made it obvious that one of the two shipped Bismarck and Hood cause of Enterprise telling Bismarck that Hood was smiling at her
Please, birb, she is actually attacking bosses with her auxiliary guns. She is basically taking both backline and vanguard roles. And the damage is somewhere between light and heavy cruiser. Think of it as a 7 ship formation.
Considering, from what I've noticed, that no one seems to realize that her secondary gun skill affects both her and Tirpitz, don't know about other BB/C's, It's even more firepower. In PvP The enemy Vanguard is under constant attack from my Vanguard and 2 BB secondaries. Sure at reduced damage, but BB secondaries are no joke with their FP so the loss of damage is like having 5 vanguard ships protecting your backline.
Oh Bismarck, you've always been by mainstay Backline for my main fleet. You've helped me a lot in grinding my first PR ship: Roon. Though you did cause trouble by stealing MVP everytime you fire your main gun.
I know the feeling, I had to mostly run manual because of that :P the only two ships I've seen beating her to mvp on a semi regular basis are z23 and roon. neither being usefull for roon grinding :P
She was my first oath ship right before Eugen. I run several faction specific fleets to have farm for all PR combat xp, but iron blood is still a bummer. It's less a question of what you want to run and more of what is even awailable
Just got the game and got EXTREMELY lucky and pulled Tirpitz. I got Hood as well, and I've been using Long Island as my Carrier (I intend to replace her with Hiryuu). However, I can't get Bismarck and I'm very sad. I am hoping that she will return soon, but I haven't even started world 5 so... Holding out for hope!
I've used Ironbloods since Graf and Tirpitz released I was stalked by Prinz all the time. My Ironblood fleet is Bismark, Graf Zeppline, Tirpitz, Z23 (Kai), Prinz Eugen and the Leipzig I plan on switching Prinz for Roon or another Ironblood cruiser or Z1.
Well I can Azur lane got the 2 ships right just like in real life. Bismarck was the Flag Ship of the german navy and Tirpitz was stuck in Norway for most of war and only went out alone to hunt. So I would say there skills match and there stats, as they were built at slightly different times. Great vid Hawk.
Ah, yes, the mighty Bismark. The great part about her is despite the limited NUMBER of backline ships Ironblood has, you still have access to a more defensive lineup (Graf/Bismark/Tirpitz) where you don't have to worry about suicide ships murdering the main fleet as well as a more offensive Carrier lineup. Though, I oathed both the Bismark sisters so the carrier loadout rarely sees use for me. For frontline, I would not write off the non-research frontliners. Ironblood has access to good-to-decent destroyers, a reasonable CL lineup thanks to retrofits and reasonable CA lineup due to tankiness. A CA lineup from Ironblood is pretty good at just ignoring fire from mob fleets due to their defensive skill lineup, as well as their barrages. I have yet to get my Light Cruisers online, but Leipzig is a recent addition that buffs the other two retrofit CL's they have access to, so I am hoping they show some promise as Ironblood frontline farmers for Roon herself. With the help of upgraded Wolfpack uboats, they are looking quite good at mob clearing with good potential for some bosses. One thing to mention about ironblood is that EVERYTHING comes with torpedos in the frontline. This is a blessing and a curse, since you CAN get amazing alpha strikes but at the cost of gun damage compared to the FREEDOMLANDERS.
Great video as per usual, I managed to snag bismarck during the event with my literal second build but never managed to grab myself Tirpitz (maybe one day) buuuut considering my near chronic tendency to use almost exclusively Eagle Union ships I may or may not actually use them...just like almost every other SR I have that I don't use... There haven't been many ships that have really made me want to change my main line up of Indi, Phoenix, Laffey for Vanguard and Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Oklahoma for backline...even though I know it's far from the best line up available with my extensive amount of ships... Oh! and only 12 more to go before the first of my suggested ships gets the spotlight, hoorah!
yeah 155 is cl lvl guns. anything in the 150s are cl calibers, 203s are heavy and anything 140 and less are dds. 283s can be either heavy cruiser or bb depending on the model, 310s are heavy cruisers sepcific to 1 cruiser and anything bigger than that of bb guns. My personal favorite for bismarck is the twin tbkt ap gun... accurate, decently fast firing with fast shell velocity, considering the range it has to cover velocity and accuracy are a must if you want the secondaries to be useful on biscuit.
It doesn't sound like a DD gun I know...so I believe it is...I don't have all the cl guns down (see if a light cruiser can equip it...eg Helena or Cleveland)
Glad to hear you didn't make yet another Entyface joke (though in the previous video how did the purple eyes not give away that it was Enterprise?). But wanting to oath KMS backliners isn't too surprising as many are actually pretty endearing (the whole edgelord reputation may be due to a couple of CAs)
My main as in my first fleet is Iron Blood. Bismarck as Flagship, of course, Tirpitz on her left and Graf Zeppelin on her right. My girls at the vanguard are Prinz Eugen because I refuse to let her go. Then Z23 and Roon. I like my German girls.
My main fleet consists of only ironblood ships. Tirpitz, Bismarck and Graf Zeppelin in the backlin. The vanguard varies but i try to keep Z25 in it cause of the 25% damage reduction for the flag ship, keeping the Bismarck tanky af. Else i have Prinz Eugen/Admiral Hipper or maybe the Graf Spee in the vanguard with her. Second fleet is HMS with Hood, Queen Elizabeth and Warspite in the back cause duh Hood spam is still pretty sweet xD
The magic of Sabaton grabs another soon to be fan. And so far the only girls I've oathed were KMS girls. What can I say? I love their design theme of badass-looking dieselpunk shark/dragon mouths.
I am glad to take the blame and I will continue to urge you to review more and play more Ironblood. Kakakakaka. Roon next, minion! Don't let any stairs stop us! ... But really... Roon gets absolutely mad with Bismarck and Graf Zeppelin in the fleet... as if she wasn't tanky and scarry enough on her own.
This is the ship that broke the server. She are the one that make me watching AL stream on youtube, simple because I cant enter the game after the update. I forgot the streamers name, but so many people salty at him that time when he pull bismarck, including me 🤣.
I actually have 2 Iron Blood only fleets xD the main fleet constist of Bismarck as flag ship and Zeppelin/Tirpitz on her side. The vanguard is a bit variable since i don't have all the ships i want for it. But, Z25 is a big part of it with her Flagship Cover skill to decrease Bismarcks damage taken by 25%. Else i am still working towards Roon for the Vanguard and then i'll maybe put Z23 in as well. The second Iron Blood fleet only exist cause i can with Gneisenau, Scharnhorst, Zeppy and the Königsberg trio.
I'm just happy they adjusted her stats historically rather than turning her into some monster supership like pop culture would have you believe. I'm definitely in favour of something like a little google doc sheet with all upcoming ship reviews in the description.
They did well except for her historical AA. Same with Tirpitz. Their AA was phenominally better than what pop culture would have you believe and what Yostar went with. The only reasons the Swordfish were successful, and mind you only ONE actually got an attack in despite the Bismarcks AA problem with them was because they were so slow and old. In reality we are talking about Sandy AA ability. Tirpitz was constantly bombed form 30+k feet. Because the British did not want to face her in a ship battle and nothing else flying would survive to get close enough to bomb.
@@mychaeldark1007 I agree that her AA could be a bit better, but they shouldn't be anywhere near Sandy. Or A KGV or South Dakota class for that matter. Saying that the Swordfishes were succesful only because they were so slow and old is highly illogical. It's true that they did very well because of their light construction and unusually slow speed, but that is just a huge middle finger to the Bismarck. Proving that its AA suite was overspecialized, inflexible and poorly managed. Also keep in mind that the *two torpedo hits were achieved by only 15 bombers. That's a 1 followed by a 5. Barely more than a dozen. Far less than were used for any other Carrier-on-Battleship action. Saying that the British bombed the Tirpitz out of existence because they feared a surface engagement is also very questionable. As proven with the Bismarck, the Nelson class and KGV class were more than capable of incapacitating a Bismarck class after the first few salvos. The reality is that the British knew that the Tirpitz had no chance of safely getting back to Germany for the repairs she needed and they could afford to bomb her into the sea floor without risking hundreds of lives in a surface engagement.
@@Tepid24 You do make some good points. And I in no way mean to demean the courage of those swordfish pilots. Many of whom didn't make it back. The Bismarcks AA being over specialized however is a little unfair. The AA control radar wasn't programmed to track targets moving as slow as the Swordfish. The speed difference wasn't that much, only a few knots of speed, but it was enough that the control radar couldn't accurately track them. Also when I make a point about how old the Swordfish are, I'm referring to their construction. It is well known that in the Battle of Denmark straight many of the AA rounds went completely through the fabric of the Swordfish without arming. ANY other aircraft of the time would have received heavy if not critical damage, but because of the Swordfishes WW1 era construction, the shells were very ineffective. Both torpedos that damaged the Bismarck were from Swordfish. The Fairy Fulmers, that were also deployed, couldn't get close enough to make accurate runs because of the Bismarcks AA capability. The first attacks torpedoes were all launched by the Swordfish. Yes, it may sound questionable about the bombing of the Tirpitz, but there were several factors involved. 1.) The Bismarck was mounted with a highly advanced and experimental Fire Control Radar that was destroyed by the shockwaves from the Bismarcks own guns when she fought Hood and Prince of Wales. This later significantly contributed to her poor gun performance in the later Battle of Denmark straight against Rodney and KGV. This is because the crew were relatively inexperienced and untrained. They had received as much training as the Kriegsmarine had given them, but the Radar was installed after they had done sea trials before her venture into the Atlantic. There was no backup FC. This massive defect was corrected and the FC further upgraded making Tirpitz have one of the most advanced and reliable FC's of any ship, at the time. Yes the Royal Navy knew they could defeat Tirpitz through surface action, however, they were afraid of the damage to morale should they take too many loses from Tirpitz. It would be easier, and safer to bomb her. 2.) It took more than just a few salvos to knock out the Bismarck. The battle lasted nearly an hour and a half before she lost her first 2 turrets. Again, the reasons that KGV and Nelson were able to attack Bismarck with relative ease was because they soon discovered that Bismarck could not return effective fire. In essence she was firing blind. 3.) Many of the defects that were found in Bismarcks design from the Battle of Denmark straight were corrected in Tirpitzs construction. As for Tirpitz not being able to make it back to port. Are you perhaps thinking of a different ship? To my knowledge much of the bombing of Tirpitz was done while she was sitting in port and drydock. Now, I agree with you completely that Bismarck was not some super ship. She was however, the most highly advanced ship of her time. That doesn't make her a super ship or undefeatable. Also, the jammed rudder and heavy sea's significantly exacerbated the gunnery of the German crew.
@@mychaeldark1007 You also make good points and I by no means want to say that the Bismarck was a terrible ship. It is very sensible and compassionate of you to try not to demean the courage of the swordfish pilots, but you did make a slight mistake since all of them survived, albeit some were wounded. You again bring up that the Bismarcks AA fire directors couldn't keep track of them because they were so slow, but this isn't an excuse. This simply shows that the Bismarck had a significant oversight/weakness in the design of its AA suite. Her heavy AA couldn't aim properly due to their low speed (I would consider this a design failure) and light AA in general was unsuited due to the light construction of the Swordfish failing to trigger the contact fuses. I'm not sure what Fulmars you are talking about? There was an attack by the carrier HMS Victorious that included Fulmars but whilst no planes were lost it also didn't manage to cause considerable damage. The famous raid by HMS Ark Royal's Swordfish was on the next day and the attack in which Bismarcks rudder was destroyed and in that attack there were only 15 Swordfish present. Two of them turned away due to the AA fire. Besides, don't forget that the Fulmar was a Fighter, they couldn't carry torpedos and only escorted the Swordfish. As for Tirpitz: 1) German Fire Control was certainly very good, but "very good" was the minimum requirement since they were fighting the Royal Navy. It's amazing that they managed to come up with an FCS that was comparable to its british counterpart and even made it similarly reliable later after having most of their naval development crippled after WW1. But that can't really be considered an advantage, they just managed to eliminate a potential disadvantage and achieved parity. And for the second part of your first point: Isn't that exactly what I said? They could defeat the Tirpitz on the surface, but bombing her to hell was less risky so it's what they went for. 2) On the 27th of May, the first salvo was fired by Rodney at 8:47. Only 13 minutes later, at 9:02, a salvo from her killed all the bridge staff and disabled Bismarcks two forward turrets, though one of them would fire a last salvo at 9:27. By 9:31 all four turrets were out of action. At that point the Bismarck was de facto defeated as she couldn't fight back anymore and turned into a giant pinata. She capsized at 10:35 and sank completely at 10:40. From the first Salvo of Rodney (8:47) to the point at which Bismarck had unconditionally lost that battle (9:31) 44 minutes had passed. It's also notable that Bismarck did manage to straddle Rodney with her first two salvos at 8:50, it's notable because this means that the Bismarck wasn't defenseless, she was simply outclassed over the course of the action. 3) That is definitely true, but I still wouldn't put my money on her if the upgraded Tirpitz had to fight against multiple modern Royal Navy battleships like the Bismarck did. She could hold out longer and therefore do more damage, but that's just another reason why it was a very wise decision to bomb her whilst she couldn't run away. Yes, it's true that she was in port, but no dock in Norway had the necessary infrastructure to fully restore her. Her goal was always to repair as much as possible and return to Germany ASAP. Meanwhile the Royal Air Force were trying their best to keep her from leaving and succeeded rather spectacularly since Tirpitz was effectively removed from the war in autumn of 1943. And despite what it may look like, I do agree that the Bismarck class were very good ships, but I personally can't put them on the same level as the much more refined King George V class, North Carolina class and even the Littorio class. When looking at all of her characteristics the Bismarck just seems like a forced effort to push out something that can lift a candle to the major Navies of the world and suffers from using many experimental systems and being horribly overweight. Basically like every other military branch of Nazi Germany. The obsession with "Wunderwaffen" made them desperately try to produce systems which the German economy, infrastructure and grade of technology simply couldn't handle, resulting in Frankensteins like the Bismarck, the Tiger II or the Me 262 which never managed to come close to their "on-paper" capability.
@@Tepid24 It's nice to be able to have a non-confrontational exchange with someone. Thank you for the correction about the Fairey. I can certainly see your point about the oversight in her AA control, although I only partially agree with you. Although, I think the Germans should have taken vintage aircraft like the Swordfish into account, I can see why they didn't as the Germans were more focused on countering land based aircraft threats, with the Royal Airforces more advanced aircraft, than the Royal Navy's more obsolete aircraft. An oversight I do agree however. Of the Air attacks, the first attack did more damage than the second. However, most of the damage that was caused was not by the torpedo hit itself, but by the high speed maneuvering that the attacks caused. The second attack damaged the steering which is what caused Bismarcks ultimate demise. So overall it was more successful. I was under the impression that the Swordfish that had torpedoed Bismarcks rudder had been shot down with the crew lost after their attack. Apparently I was wrong. lol I think it's a bit funny though. We go from discussing Bismarcks AA to talking about the battle of Denmark straight. Admittedly it was I that pushed the conversation that way. As for the crew of the Swordfish that attacked Bismarck. www.kbismarck.com/article2.html Who in their right mind could doubt the courage and conviction of such men. I may be stubborn, but I'm not stupid.

Im surprised of how low Tirpitz AA is considering she got her AA upgraded after bismarck sunk and the fact that she survived over 30 air raids by the British
It's yostar falling to Popular belief. Bismarcks AA was highly advanced. Ironically, the only thing that the Royal Navy had that could get close to her was the ancient swordfish. Bismarcks AA knocked their other aircraft out of the sky. Bismarck and Tirpitz both should have rather high AA, nearly Atlanta class level AA, to be more historically accurate. Tirpitz was under attack by high level bombers because the Royal Airforce didn't have anything that else that could survive long enough to do any bombing.
The reason why tirpitz has more health I think is because since tirpitz was 2000 tons heavier coming at 52000 thousand tons while bismarck was 50000 tons

He*
Yep
Bismarck always was "He"
It was more a lol at how bad UK ships were.
Nist498 || which cannon was that last shot by Bismarck shot from again?
@@birubu Not sure, you mean the torpedo that finally sunk the Bismarck? I believe that was the Dorsetshire. The ship was already listing badly and the Dorsetshire had to try several times before it finally worked.

@@Tepid24 She is most tanky ship of ww2 btw

-Main Fleet: Bismarck(Flagship), Tirpitz and Graf Zeppelin
-Vanguard Fleet: Z23/Z46(either FP or AA, up to you), Roon(main FP+Shield skill) and Eugen(for extra FP+another shield skill)

I got Bismarck, Tirpitz and Prinz oathed due to there historical past.

A few moments, that i just wanna say:
1) On event we have item, that reduce dmg debuff for the backline, soooo...

Bismarck has been my favorite ship so far (only competitors would be z23, Roon and Belfast... but they're still a bit behind). She's been my cornerstone for Roon grinding and is still my number one choice for siren hunting. She's my first maxed out lvl 120 ship with fully levelled equipment. she can "solo" some of the daily quests too (poor scharnhorst, eating 120k damage in one salvo most not be pleasant).
I also really like her design and personality. She's a great ship and a great wifu. German engeneering at its best :P and her theme (from sabaton) really does her service :D
now, if only the event her sister and graff zeppelin stars in would come back so that I can finally nail my kms fleet together.

I prefer shoving torpedoes on my enemies throats because its easier to delete them that way.
Sandy is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to protect Bismarck and Tirpitz from planes

Hello from September 2020. Bismarck just finished her rerun.

Today I have a f**cking Bismarck
One thing I'm missing from both this video and the Tirpitz one is that both of them only get +1 secondary guns, instead of the normal +2.
8:13 so she does regret leaving her sister behind.....gdi Bis stop making me hate u less
is the tripple 155 considered a CL gun? Just wondering whether or not i should change it, in case it doesnt trigger that skill effect of hers.
yeah 155 is cl lvl guns. anything in the 150s are cl calibers, 203s are heavy and anything 140 and less are dds.
At least I know the reasons why one of Bismarck voiceline is "tirpitz forgive me"

THEY ARE BOUND BY IRON AND BLOOD
My main as in my first fleet is Iron Blood. Bismarck as Flagship, of course, Tirpitz on her left and Graf Zeppelin on her right. My girls at the vanguard are Prinz Eugen because I refuse to let her go. Then Z23 and Roon. I like my German girls.
My main fleet consists of only ironblood ships. Tirpitz, Bismarck and Graf Zeppelin in the backlin. The vanguard varies but i try to keep Z25 in it cause of the 25% damage reduction for the flag ship, keeping the Bismarck tanky af.
As for Tirpitz:
1) German Fire Control was certainly very good, but "very good" was the minimum requirement since they were fighting the Royal Navy.

Who in their right mind could doubt the courage and conviction of such men. I may be stubborn, but I'm not stupid.
Queen of the North and the King of the Oceans. What a royal pair. Hopefully we can get Tirpitz soon (as a new player.)

And the silence of the sea is about to drift into a storm
Sign of power, show of force
Raise the anchor, battleship's plotting its course

To lead the war machine
To rule the waves and lead the Kriegsmarine
The terror of the seas

The terror of the seas
The Bismarck and the Kriegsmarine
At the bottom of the ocean, the depths of the abyss
They are bound by iron and blood
The flagship of the navy, the terror on the seas

Hey, I liked the only Ironblood back line I got, “Bismarck” so much I put a ring on it.
I burnt all my cubes and didn't get Bismark, I was so pissed. Now I am used to it. I haven't gotten all limited builds in any events ever since. sigh
I wasn't able to get Zeppy, or Akagi-chan... I got Hiei-chan, though after I got her, my game crashed and only registered her in my archive that I had her.
Anyone know how to get normal Hiei, or when/if she is released yet? As well as tips for the Akagi, Kaga, Hiryuu grind?
With the unfulfilled promise aux gear Bismark + Tirpitz become one of the best combos to full clear harder chapters at 0 ammo.
Hope they eventually add her story to archives so I can finally get her in the build rate up.
From a Last day event pull, to the roon grind, to still being the flagship of my clean up crew. She's seen it all. Now I just need her sister...
Also... how's the roon grind hawk?
(Inb4 I'm not gonna be able to talk shit much longer because I'm doing 3-4 now)
a few more D-3 runs and she's good to go!
probably saving the cubes to be safe..
@@Hawk2zer0 When it came to both Monarch and Roon's cubes, they were one of the first things I did
@@memesrdreams4854 oof...
Gotta save the cubes for Taihou and others
I have 19 saved up, that should get me pretty far. I'm just hoping grinding 3-4 doesn't send me into a flaming nosedive. How long did it take you?
Great to see Bismarck in the game! Any idea if the Iowa or Yamato class may be coming?
Would love to see a fox twin review
No idea about either of those ships...
Fox Twins will be soon! Definitely getting used to them...so they're getting their time.
yamato just an over hyped hotel ship
FITE ME!!
Bismarck + Tirpitz + Graf Zeppelin. This is The Backline.
Now if only I could figure out a good frontline...
There's a few good choices there.
Nimi, Z46, Z1, Leipzig, Roon, Deutschland, Admiral Graf Spee
Hipper and Prinz can be used as well if desired.
Damn, I missed the event since I’m still *fairly* new to the game.
I’ll get her one day...
In the very d i s t a n t future
There's plenty of ships that you should be able to get soon...I imagine Tirpitz and Graf Zeppelin's event should be returning soonish
I predicted the future Harry

P. S Hide your Hoods
Just a thought, when you get to the Shiratsuyu class ships, try pairing Yuudachi and Shigure together for the hell of it
last day(I think) of current banner... and the elite curse is still coursing through my vein... I wonder if Birmingham will come home on rerun T_T
I wonder if bis and tirpz buff goes well with zeppy (I have mama zep tho).
Zeppy is for Pure offense KMS fleet, Mamma Zep is for a more balanced KMS fleet.
The reason why tirpitz has more health I think is because since tirpitz was 2000 tons heavier coming at 52000 thousand tons while bismarck was 50000 tons
Well yes, in real life Tirpitz was technically better than her sister
Do you have any of the hyperdimention ones? If so please do a vid on them
I love Massachusetts enty Lexington backline on boss fleets. Huge damage and pretty tanky for 3 star map clear plus boss. Also a carrier that does barrage is instant win for me.
have you tries zeppy? her barrage is pretty good :P
@@yochitoranaga sadly dont have her yet.
