One of the tunes is Garry Owen, but there is at least one other tune. The jigs and reels on these organs were often two or three strung together to fit the number of bars available on the barrel.

Can it play backwards?

No Barrl Organ will play backwards a special ratchet to prevent the mechanism from being smashed by rotating the barrel against the keys in the wrong direction will lock the rotation and simply mean the winding handle will unscrew.
