I agree I think this is ELVIS's best gospel album. The version I have is a copy my dad bought me in 1976 the reissue with the cover of just ELVIS's head with clouds and blue background. Love all his gospel music.
Couldn’t agree more Mark! I have always said, his worst he gave it his best on some of soundtracks. But his gospel music was just totally out of this world. I always enjoy them. I do have the original stereo and Fridays copy as well. Wish I had picked up the FTD 🥲 Great review Mark as always! 😁👏🏻
Ever since you mentioned this and the golden records volume 3, I've been hooked. Always taken for granted that he did great songs throughout his life but you are so right about the early 60s out of the army. His voice had a raw yet smooth tone, which made His Hand In Mine such a great album.
Since the age of 14 this has been my favourite Elvis album !! It's amazing ( again) how we form our musical 🎼 tastes at such a young age ! I have a lot of copies of this album ... I have tried twice at biding for the VPI version on ebay 😅 And lost out both times ...it is very expensive 🤪 I really want it ! Great album ...Good video Mark 👍🏻

Good stuff, Mark! I don't own any of those modern vinyl releases but I do have the FTD CD. I have all the 1960 through 1977 label variations.

elvis on tour cant even compare to the thats the way it is box set . little effort done it shows dont cry to sony they dont need ur comment laughing
