Man yeah!! Getting it dialed in Mr Bill!! I figured Mr SBF and cousin Scott would be a huge help! Didn't even think about Mr Tim, that's awesome!! I love the plexiglass idea, that looked like it worked perfect!! Boy it's always tuff when filming, seems nothing ever goes as planned!! But thank you for rerecording it and bringing us along!! Look fwd to seeing some paint on it, and in the dirt!! Thank you Mr Bill, very good video I'm taking notes👍😁

Getting closer. Yes, they were a lot of help. Good advice. I'm always willing to listen to those with experience and learn. The plexiglass worked great. Didn't trust duct tape. Lol Going to get it cleaned up and painted just to put it in the dirt. Thanks so much for always being here. Much appreciated!!

Looks like it should work good. That's great that fellow UA-camrs helped advice you with the best setup & what that gearbox was for. Thanks for sharing your latest project. Take care.

Good ideas! Looks like the plexi glass worked like a charm. I’m sure it will look a lot better with paint. Can’t wait to see it dropping beans in the field for long.

Awesome man ,l👀king ready for planting! Heck I just learned from you on the scrapers , 50 being fertilizer, and box . Question, can you take off grass seed box and fertilizer hopper?

The grass seed box is detachable but the fertilizer box isn't. The fertilizer and seed box are one box with a divider. I'm excited about getting it in the field. Should be fun. Thanks again for the help!!

Rattle Can paint is alright for touch up but, a good sandblasting and pneumatic paint if you really want to make it look great

I agree. I don't really expect it to last a long time but it does look good right now. Turned out pretty nice for what it is. Thanks for watching and commenting!!

Why did you use plexiglass everyother seed drop? Also you didn't show us to adjust the rate of seed for soybeans

I used plexiglass because it was what I had. Didn't trust duct tape to stay in place. In the planting video I went over adjusting the seed drop. What I found is the chart is just for reference. You have to count the seed on the ground and adjust by that. There is no magic number on the dial that works right. At least not on my machine. Thanks for the questions and thanks for watching!!

Too bad your not going to use your fertilizer box, with soybeans potash is critical but, if you plant winter wheat
Phosphorus is really critical at planting usally about 7 to 10 bushels per acre more yield I wish I had known that 35 or so years ago. But, we were old school and relied on carry over for our P & K for soybeans and wheat behind our cotton crops

The fertilizer box is in bad shape. Not usable the way it is. I ran a soil test and will be putting fertilizer down ahead of planting. I should have what I need. Can't remember the exact amount of the top of my head. Thanks for watching!!
