Stinson Farms
United States
Приєднався 31 січ 2021
Stinson Farms is a small family farm in Western Kentucky. I farmed for many years with my dad, brother, grandpa and the rest of the family. Now it's just me and my wife, our 2 daughters and son-n-laws along with the grand babies. Wanted to share our life with family, friends and anyone who loves the simple life on a farm. It's hard work at times but it's what I know and love. We have goats, chickens, a dog and a cat. We raise corn, soybeans, hay and a few strawberries and vegetables in the garden. We love to hunt and spending time outdoors or in the shop. I hope you enjoy the videos. Come along with us while we enjoy life on a family farm.

I planted a many of acres with a 630 and 2 row 25 bs
I'm glad to hear that you are going to no till next year and I hope you don't plant as deep as you will have enough fodder on the ground to keep it from drying out so fast this is your old ruckerville friend
So how heavy was that load?
And that's some great looking feed
And you ought to start selling the shirts that's how the Bryson guys and everyone else on utube make their money
This is that crabby old man from clark County again and it's too bad hay equipment is so expensive because it would be nice now that you are retired you could be in the hay business and have plenty of time to take care of it
Don't know where you get your fuel out there but the folks with diesel pickups around here are just a grinning because they can buy fuel cheaper than everyone with gasoline engines
How many acres could you farm with a 3020?
Sir, I'm just an old country boy from a little town called Loxley Al. Down near Gulf Shores. I grew up on a 1500 acre farm and this kind of work is all I ever did. God I miss that old 4960 John deere. My dad had 6 tractors. I watched him work himself to death out here in these fields for hardly nothing. I still get out here and mess around from time to time for one of my friends. If I was near your location, you wouldn't have to ever worry about getting out there on that tractor. I would do it for you for free. I just love being out there. It's like therapy to me. I'm a retired Marine so I don't need no money. Just love the peace of being out in the field working. Love you videos. Keep at it and hope everything turns out great and you make money on top of money.
I hope this cold weather ain't messing up your stalk chopping I guess the new tractor and the 4430 have heated cabs
His truck had a ten speed road ranger and had differential interlock
When I got married my brother in law had a big ford coal truck and they said it had a 350 hp Cummins in it and I don't know if it had straight pipes or what but it was a good sounding truck
Is that a live tandem or tag axle?
@@1957rickster No, it's a dead tandem, and it has got me stuck a time or two. Thanks for watching!
I saw a YT video to cure that common problem- put an old tire without wheel, between the 2 - it makes the dead axle turn a little. Maybe enough to get out.
You need to find yourself a broom or shovel to push those ingredients into the mixer. Dangerous using your hand to do that. Be safe
I guess I'm a simpleton but I can't figure out why on November 4th and you and the boys were chopping stalks that you needed to chop the end rows to have a place to turn around to mow the rows I'm sorry
I learned the hard way not to grind hay or incorporate salt in the grinder. (Bearing and corrosion) Best to grind plain corn. And use salt block/minerals for cattle.
I love your videos and have been looking forward all summer for your molasses making
Do you ever have any coolant leaking from the coolant system?
@@LittleNokesvilleFarm I have not that I've ever noticed.
Nice video, FYI if you raise the seat all the way up you can access the hydraulic fill hole easier.
@yessssss11 thanks! I should have thought about that. Thanks for watching!!
You are going to have to become a bee keeper so the beans will get pollinated
I enjoy chopping cornstalks. To me, it means another farm year complete. And there are many reasons why it's a good thing to do. Nice to see the younger generation with you.
It's November 21th today
It's kinda sad that after Mr Earl helped you out hauling grain for you that you couldn't haul some grain to him when they needed it
Beautiful farm and an excellent video... I am looking at deere KBA disc's right now and found your video on them very helpful. Keep up the great work sir!
@@BeltFedsComLLC thanks! And thanks for watching!!
I hope you filmed the 2024 sorgum cooking
@@raywhite1442 I didn't cook any this year. Cane didn't do any good.
Brings back fond memories, Thanks for sharing!
You said how to get the merchandise once but I ain't quick enough for you
Great video buddy! You gotta love kids loving tractors. God bless
Great video good to see y'all
And you changed the fuel filter on the combine again I wonder how anything gets in the fuel to stop it up if you put the cap back on the tank
And you must have a terrible tempper to have everyone afraid to help you around the new truck
Mr Bill you went about cutting the beans in a way I don't know how you can tell the lower seed population yield from the rest
I've figured out you are in graves county
@@raywhite1442 Logan county
Do you have any fun equipment upgrades planned for next year Mr Bill?
@@craigadair128 not at this time. I would like to have a DMI ripper, but maybe not by next year.
Good video good to see you
I wish I was closer I would love to help you
Sweet old Ford. I love the Louisville's and I'd love to own one. My dad ran one when he worked for the state and the town. Single screw stick shift. Loved riding with him. Here's to many more miles of smiles with your old gal🤙🤙
I've got my little deere in the doctors office now
I hope you aren't getting all the rain we're getting in clark County or you are through
I'm afraid you won't be getting a thousand bushles on a 34 foot jet
I wish you would at least tell us what county you are in
is the flighting supposed to have that big gap in it
Great video good to see ya God bless you
Mr Bill I'm totally confused I watched the video of you building the quick Crete wall where the water had washed out the road and stopped the culvert up and you said you were in a different place and not where you raised your crops and it appears to be the road you drove the combine up when you drove drove it to the farm preparing to she'll corn in another video what's up with that maybe I'm just too old
I watched a video of you shelling some corn with a hand sheller and there was an about a 1956 ford pickup in the background and I'd love for you to bring it out in the daylight and tell us about it sometime if you still have it
When were taking the beans I'd rather heard you talking through a mask than you getting pneumonia from breathing the dust
Maybe you can find yourself a nice Deere 9500 combine in the off season
Looks like an animal dug a tunnel
Good video good to see ya
This year, the beans were all over the place. Corn was the most consistent I have ever seen. For only 11" of rain this season, corn was impressive. Best of luck to you.
