Poshmark fail! I was sold a fake bag!

- I am 100% confident that this is a fake bag! I am in disbelief that anyone would even bother replicating this brand! I have submitted a report with Poshmark and will let you know what happens next!

The person is arguing that the two I own in my collection are fake and that I’m a liar trying to pull one over on Poshmark. Ah the Joys of buying online 🤩
If you paid using a credit card, you can also file a chargeback if Poshmark won’t help you. Definitely open a case, sorry this happened to you!

The seller is trying to bully Poshmark because they have over 200k followers on instagram. They think their status as an influencer means that they should be trusted. I have no reason to lie! I collect these bags so if anything I have more of a reason to want the bag to be real.
You should have re opened the case. They would have made you send the fake bag to their headquarters and they would of further checked it. Hope you got your money back overall.
I did get a full refund from my credit card.

I reported to Poshmark but the seller is claiming the two I have in my collection are fake and so now it’s up to Poshmark to decide. The only way this is real is if it was grossly abused in some way or fashion because it feels downright different than the others in my collection. We shall see what happens. I’ll do an updated video when I know for sure.

Did you find out if it’s fake or not?
Poshmark is refusing to accept a return they claim the seller has a good record they have no reason to believe it’s fake. I know it’s a fake. I suppose I just have to suck it up and keep it in my collection. But I will not be buying anything ever again from Poshmark. I am in the process of getting my money back from the bank.
For me this highlights the issues with authentication via photos rather than in person. A lot of the reason I know it’s a fake is the material used. That can’t be seen in a photo but Poshmark doesn’t care.
the finish doesnt look as good as your first two😅 and the handle looks smaller and the bag is not as wide🫤 if it is real the quality is lacking but i wouldnt have known if you didnt compare it to the others
I was thinking maybe the bag was wet or too hot/cold and it messed with the texture. But for sure I also still am convinced it’s a fake or a dud. I shall see what happens if I get my money back or not.
I'm so sorry this happened to you. I had similar experience days ago. I was on the pre-loved market bc I lost my YSL card holder. (Devistated🥺) When I received the one I ordered, I could tell immediately it was fake. It was spongy, sticky and smelled like plastic!!! Advice would be to open your case. Be very specific with details on what seems inauthentic. Provide them all the photos. I'm confident they will rule in your favor and you will get your money back. I won my case despite the fact that the seller was accusing me of being the scammer. She swore up and down that her item was 100% authentic. Because of my experience with owning that exact item I knew it could not be. they will go that extra mile to try to win and keep their ratings. This particular seller told Poshmark all I needed to do was take the barcode tag into YSL to have them scan it for authenticity. LOL what a complete joke! Packaging and all tags were completely fake. It was 100% counterfeit!! Always go with your instinct. I did in fact contact YSL. They said they do not authenticate and they would never scan a barcode to determine authenticity. A receipt from one of their retailers would be the only way. Best of luck but I'm confident you will get all of your money back. Case reviews generally takes two days. But rest assured Poshmark will do the right thing
Poshmark asked me for more photos but then told me I made too many comments so they won’t let me submit any more. I’m in a weird limbo. The scam artist is trying to say she’s an influencer and so she go it directly from the brand but i as someone who is familiar with this item can tell it’s a fake. She’s saying if I mail it back I will send her a fake and so now I don’t know what is going to happen.
