I just listened to a thing about him that told me something I didn't know. At the end, he was suffering from a form of dementia that was causing insomnia and anxiety and delusions. Wow.
@@JeshuaSquirrel Yeah he had Lewy Body Dementia. But according to his daughter he was misdiagnosed with Parkinson's. The world will never know if it was delusions that caused his death or as reported at the time he didn't want to live with his disease so he stopped it before it got really bad. Either way.....RIP to a genius!
Poor Robin, being haunted by his own characters. Of all of them, he makes me weep. I had a close family member who suffered from dementia and the worst terrors. She would see children eating each other, imagined them walking through her room with blood dripping from their mouths as they eat other children's body parts. Then she would get up and scrub the floor of the blood only she could see. We miss her terribly but in the end, her death was mercy especially for her. Dementia is a fate worse than death. May God have mercy on Mr. Williams's soul.
@@nanner3200 so sad when the world lost Robin. Although having seen the effects of those diseases, I like to believe that he made the best decision for him and his family. 😥😥😥
In this one, Joan won the rap, Robin won our hearts. No one talked about him in this. Man was so loveable :( I had the pleasure of meeting him twice. I miss him.
Joan steamrolled over all of them & I'm sure she would've been delighted & gleeful about it. Robin coming in at the end actually hurts. I still can't rewatch his movies or specials..painful to know such a bright light was privately living in such inner darkness. I hope he's a happy, healed soul now on the other side.💙
To be fair Robin did commit suicide because he was depressed. He had a actual rare disease called "Lewy Body Dementia". One of the few things is does to you is cause hallucinations. And a autopsy proved he had that. Pretty nasty if you read up on it. It's a surprise he lived till his 60s.
~ He did a reaction video to Grand Funk: Shinin' On, and in the middle of it he made a "Cosby face." I laughed for a long time at that, and that's when I subscribed.
With the way these rap battles have been going lately, we can almost play “pick the moment Jamel walks out” 😂😂😂. It’s extra hilarious whenever the big guy has to walk off screen to “compose” himself ✋️🤣
one of the many things i love about erb is that they dont discriminate. they go after EVERYONE....regardless of skin tone, genitalia, age, ethnic origin, political ideas or anything else.....and that's how comedy should always be.....equal opportunity mocking.
I love the creativity of this one and I love all the guest appearances! The only problem with group battles is that the originals only get one verse, and many rap battles don’t get good and nasty until later rounds. But as a comedy fan, I still love it and I think they did a great job incorporating Cosby, who is a comedy legend but acknowledging the obvious drugged elephant in the room 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for your fun reactions! I especially appreciate that you pause to comment and then go back a bit on the vid so you won't miss anything (As I find it frustrating when reactors talk over what they're supposed to be reacting to)
Baaa haaa haaa that's f-ing funny as hell. When Cos started saying his lip felt funny then did someone put something in my Jello, hahahaha. Still laughing.
Good Cos, J! Kudos! YOU woulda won, but for the late arrivals...Robin's got this one, imho! Every card in this deck is primo face and voice! We lucked out for awhile, that's all.✌😘🎶💞😉😂
Originally they weren't gonna have William's in the battle and end it with joan but when they were describing what the battle would be everyone assumed, oh so that's when Robin Williams shows up. So they decided it was a good idea lol
the ERBs that have collages are nice surprises. You should check out Jim Henson vs Stan Lee... (you may have and I just haven't come across it yet). It has sadness a bit too because Jim had passed and then after this video, Stan passed.
They did Robin last cause Joan loved him irl ...she'd never burn him except jokingly w private jokes between them that made them both laugh...miss Joan on the red carpet
What they are making fun of when Cosby says "What' wrong with my lip" is a comedy routine he did a long time ago about going to the dentist. The dentist gives him a shot and he starts going numb all over and can't talk. This amazing how they tied that routine to his reputation for drugging women.
this is one of my favourite battles and Joan Rivers was perfect, the look, the mannerism, the voice, the accent, the manner of speaking, simply perfect!
Yo, I'm...😂😂😂💀💀💀 When you lost it at the moment you realize the Cosby bit, I just thought to myself "Bro, it's about to get a whole lot worse. Joan Rivers doesn't give a single F*CK!" Great reaction dude. 😂😂😂👍🏻

I liked Carlin the best, and there are a few like this, where there will be a few extras showing up, either from a theme, or to tag in. Most aren't like this, but there are a few, USUALLY season finales.
When I was a child I loved stand up comedy. George Carlin & Richard Pryor were my favorites. I was kind of hoping this battle would just be between them but it was a lot of fun so I can't rurally complain. I have to give the win to Joan.
IMHO, the greatest self-diss of all time, Pryor talked at length about the fire incident in his concert film "Live on the Sunset Strip". Watch this clip until the very end. ua-cam.com/video/7MHK_SCNfbM/v-deo.html
If they were going to go all ot like that, they really missed by not doing the two comedians that influenced *all* of them Redd Foxx. And Lenny Bruce. Those two were the OG kings of stand-up, and set the standards for everyone that came after them.

I think all of the battles with secret participants are great. :)
Very true.
One of my favorite ERBs. (mostly because of how much I love all these entertainers)
Robin saying, "Gotta set myself free" makes me tear up every time.
A hard play on words but it's the Genie talking there. Mork made me laugh as a kid. I'll always hang on to that.

Jamel's Cosby imitation for the win. KNOCKOUT!!!
I think it was more a Jamel doing Kenan Thompson doing Bill Cosby... but it definitely worked.
Robin Williams' rap was like listing his resume. Rivers had the hottest burns though.
Joan Rivers smoked everyone off the stage.
Well technically she didn’t talk about Robert Williams but ya

Cosby is set up nicely by his signature 'hey' during Pryor's last lines.
The funniest part of this rap battle was Jamel's reactions LOL
For me it was Jamel's spot on Cosby lol
I'd rather watch these than the actual original ERB videos for that very reason.
@@shannonp1656 and he missed like 50% of the bars
There's a few that are like this, where instead of it being one on one, it's a free for all. Usually revolving around a theme.
My new game is guessing what line/s will make Mr. Jamel stand up and walk away. 😆 🤣 😂
Gordon Ramsey vs. Julia Child and Western vs. Eastern Philosophers are the two I'm still waiting on! ;)

Always thought this one was weak on the bars, but it's so much fun that it makes up for it. (and that Robin Williams impression is REALLY good)
Did u forget Joan was spitting
Same here; the beat is so good, the impressions are on-point and I just love it.
