I understand that the defendant has a right of defence but he has been stonewalling & is being uncooperative. Since he is a former prosecutor general, there can be no excuses tolerated for his attempts to thwart justice. If he isn't going to cooperate, he should be detained so that he doesn't have a further chance to waste the courts time & resources.
When this happens in Brazil, we print the notification in the official gazette and leave a note at the defendant's home. And yes, this is a somewhat common occurrence here.
@@gjvnq We have similar thing here. We don't even need to print anything; if there's no other option, our government can send an email or upload a page online for a given amount of time and consider they're legally notified. Yes, there's absolutely no point of him not recieving the note.
