Lairen, can totally relate about being blind in heavy rain!! Sucks but, not as bad as rain hitting your glasses as you get in the van/car to drive at night.

My old stomping ground used to cave all over the area and broke my leg when I hit the pond wall in the centre of the village after a woman opened her car door in front of me coming down the gorge missed the door and the car coming the other way and hit the wall of the weir/pond managed to cycle home to Puriton though then spent weeks in plaster 😬 the pot holing is great in the Burington Combe area, miss it 😢 Pete 🇫🇷

Hi guys, yes we toured twice a year for 3 weeks at a time for 27 years in Europe 🙄 god I’m getting old 😂 so have been about a bit, most of France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany etc etc, the last 17 years we toured Ducatis, Sarah had her own but preferred to come on the back of me, like you I don’t think a 900SS was her best move for a first bike, like your RS a bit of a handful 😢 does Harry still ride ? I have a Royal Enfield now slowed down a bit.. I’m useless on these things and tech in general so it’s only photos for me 🤣🤣 there is a film on the tube of Sarah’s brother following Sarah and I around the Gorge du verdun in the south of France, type in “ motorcycle tour motorcycle trip Suzuki bandit 1250 Ducati 996 ST4 gorge du verdon “ turn the volume down as it’s got music, a 5 hour ride condensed into 40 mins, I’ve subscribed will try and catch up on your the vids …… Pete 🇫🇷

I know!! Crazy eh? I couldn't eat them, but it felt like such a waste! Glad we knew about the footpath so didn't pay that for some steps 😅 We did think about it, but I think they're hard to find fill points? Nearest to us is 40 mins away, but it would be much cheaper than what we pay now! 🙏🏼

I can't believe how much the gas costs in the UK. I pay about 20€ for the same size bottle in Spain. And I thought that was expensive.
