This presentation was part of Session 2 (Local Knowledge & Global Food Networks) at CSW's Cultural Politics of Seeds conference on May 17, 2013. Cultural Politics of Seeds brought together scholars and activists from a variety of backgrounds to look at how gender, ethnicity, and race shape contemporary cultural and political movements related to seeds. The Center for the Study of Women (CSW) is an internationally recognized center for research on women, gender, and sexuality, and the first organized research unit of its kind in the University of California system.
