Good driving Steve, the rain was a great way to ease into 2022 karting. You did well and great to see you stayed out on slicks in the wet, that can happen in any race and you have gained knowledge others have not (I did that at my 1st round of the year, but everyone came in, knowledge gained). Good luck with the season, I'll be here again watching.

I’d love to see this round Buckmore. I found Whilton ok in the BUKC but Buckmore absolutely ruined my body, barely lasted the race length.
Last time I took my rotax out to buckmore Park I gave up towards the end of the day as I couldn't keep my head up anymore 😂

Yeah was my first time out in the BUKC Mains at Buckmore this year and it absolutely ruined me too. It usually rains apparently but tbh kerbing is a must there, and I was still not quick enough by the end of it. I hope next year's BUKC season does Buckmore justice again - think it was the most technical track of our BUKC calendar this year

The neck issues are so recognizable to me, when I was driving competitively I could drive whole day long and push the kart to its limit every single lap. Couple of years later, I still drive the kart 1/2 times a year but after about an hour of driving the neck is completely ruined and every pushlap has to be followed by a cool down lap 😅 It's frustrating when you need to adjust your driving due to fitness
I've driven a cart around that track when i was maybe 14, and i have to say the stabilisation on that go pro mount is incredible given how bumpy the track is

Meant to comment when you announced your break. I had broken my thumb and a bone in my elbow and had to have surgery. You've been my favorite youtuber for around 2 years now and your vids entertained me through the recovery process. During which I bought a racing wheel and got used to driving a bit one handed. I appreciate all you do!

5:09 Just some advice Steve, on that corner in the wet it’s better to hook the inside tire into the curb like at Christmas and the corner carries you through
How do you know that? From your American spelling I'm guessing you've never driven that track, but I'm happy to be corrected otherwise.

In to days I going out to practice in my kart!
It's called porpoising, Steve and it has nothing to do with the bumps while being on slicks. You should ask your engineers to do the correct adjustments on the kart's floor before the start of the season! 😉
you should make a karting tutorial series! cause i've got a question, there are times my kart starts skipping into te corner which limits my exitspeed, idk how to resolve this. Any ideas ?
Too much grip on the rear. Take grip out.

Just curious, why don't you use a neck brace? Couldn't it help with neck fatigue and injury?
