Why are there so many house flies on my Pink Astilbe plants? Not sure if it was a great idea to plant this, considering how much flies are around because of this plant.
This is my ist time planting astilbe in a part shade flower bed and imnotice that it is spreading, new leaves growth but not flowering. Wonder what might habe been the problem. .

yeah! i noticed the astilbe I just planted for a friend was attracting a lot of flies too. so weird....

We Are The Coleys we are having the same issue. No flowers but the green leaves do grow. Not sure why. Best of luck.
Mine isnt blooming either. I just tried fertilizing. If that doesnt work im gonna move it.
