In 2012, I started having grand mal seizures out of the blue. I couldn't watch tv as the flickering would set off another seizure, and it was hard for me to read. I am also not medicated ADHD. BTW your video about that helped me so much! Anyway, for about 8 months, I couldn't drive or work. So i crocheted an afghan. It was a very simple repeating couple of stiches. It helped with the boredom, kept my hands busy, but most importantly it gently taught my brain to concentrate again without overstimulation. Crocheting is an awesome therapy.

I have fond memories of knitting with my husband on our honeymoon in 2019, before our babies came along. A wonderful tradition we started on our honeymoon is buying some local yarn where we travel. That way we can make memories collecting the yarn, making projects with it, and then wearing it. ❤ Thank you for another lovely video!

6:00 i just tried using linen yarn in my recent knitting project! It does feel pretty crunchy but softens up every time it is washed! And it depends on the brand too. My sister and i buddy test knit a pattern with different brands of linen yarn and hers was much much stiffer than mine! But both have softened over time.❤ I am now knitting with a 100 percent silk yarn from Knitting for Olive and i love it so far!

My grandma taught me to crochet when I was young. Around the age of 12, we started a blanket together when I visited her. She passed when I was 20 and I have never been able to bring myself to finish the blanket. I think about it now and then, but I have never taken that leap.

I look for yarn stores whenever we are on vacation. I try to buy locally dyed yarns and see if I can tie it to a memory of our trip. Like colors of the beach. Colors of a sunset in the mountains. Colors of a butterfly or flower I saw.
Then anytime I use or wear whatever I stitch with that, I think of that trip and memories. You’ll think of that cruise every time you use that shawl!

Dad learned from his left-handed mom who sat her right-handed son in front of her so that everything that he saw was a mirror image to what he needed to do. My brilliant Granny Grace! When Dad taught me, he did the same thing because he is right-handed, but I am left-handed.

Could you fill a few paper bags with concrete, give them a little shaping, and let them harden into 'boulders' for the goats to climb? Be fun for the goats and could help keep their hooves down. The paper would rot away just leaving the concrete (especially with goat hooves cutting it up). You could even form the 'boulders' on a plastic pallet (or the metal one from under an IBC tote) so that they could be picked up by the tractor to move when/if you move the goats.

I love Crystal at Bagoday SO much! She’s the absolute best crochet teacher by far(for me anyway)! She’s gotten me into crochet as much as you’ve gotten me into gardening. (It’s a lot lol)
    Beautiful shawls!!😍

We love cruising! I always feel the swaying for almost two weeks after. I wish not.

HAHA! I'm the opposite: I will put on your videos when I can't go work in the garden because I have to wash the dishes!

Crochet channel! Both my wife and sister crochet. I sort of barely knit and cross stitch, but I love fidgety hand projects of all types for the same reasons. I just got a crochet kit, but haven't started it. THANK YOU! I find listening to be motivating too, so this is a huge help!
