MLK is one of Greatest person in my life-Time, I was in Vietnam then I saw Black veteran on one side and the whites veteran, being in the middle belonging to neither, but I had a ring side seat to the show.

It was not a speech praising one ideology over another, or one race over another or one religion over another. It was an attempt to open the blind eyes of materialism to see, that our similarities and needs as human beings are far greater than our differences. It was a cry for peace. Our journey along the road to Jericho has unfortunately, still far to go.

25 years ago I found a book by Dr. King called Strength to love a collection of his sermons from 1963 and since then his thoughts on theology and sermons have stayed in my mind. Though I am a pacifist and he was not I still love his morality and example of what the role of a minster of the Gospel should always be. For living for Christ as he did you will be hated by the world.

MLK said "bombing, shelling and mining is part of America's pre invasion strategy". They drop 1,000's of bomb on a poor nation 8,000 miles away. Notice how the media condemned his words and portrayed him as a traitor. This was in 1967.

25 years ago I found a book by Dr. King called Strength to love a collection of his sermons from 1963 and since then his thoughts on theology and sermons have stayed in my mind. Though I am a pacifist and he was not I still love his morality and example of what the role of a minster of the Gospel should always be. For living for Christ as he did you will be hated by the world.
