  • Audi fully concentrated on top-flight racing for a long time. The Audi R8 LMS in 2008 was the first race car specifically developed for use by customer teams. With the Audi Sport TT Cup, quattro GmbH now also offers the opportunity to enter racing with Audi.
The new racing series will be held as part of the DTM starting in the 2015 season. Twelve races at six DTM events are planned. 165 applications from 30 nations had been received for the 18 available slots. At the end of January the field had been awarded. The field is made up of entrants from 13 nations and three continents. With three drivers, Germany has the largest representation. Six cars will be reserved for changing guest drivers at all races. International journalists, celebrities with an affinity for racing and racing legends from other racing series will have the opportunity to experience the Audi Sport TT Cup from the cockpit perspective and to contest races as part of the DTM event.

+AESCULAPTORmark3 No -- FWD only. And dual clutch automatic transmission. Makes for fun driving with paddle shifting.

The car is absolutely beautiful. Didn't the older TT's have an AWD option?
