Just a big thank you for still doing these! I'm in my fifth year as a beekeeper and have learned so much. Cheers.
Thanks Brad! Nice to hear we've been able to help you.
Really great videos. Might be the perfect excuse for an air compressor. I also liked how they were painted, very efficient.
Glad to hear you like the videos. Thanks BigRedNZ1
Compressors are handy for lots of tasks!
Good to see back doing videos , have learnt a lot from previous videos Peter Australia
Thank you Peter for your kind comment.
Make sure you paint the parts of the supers that touch each other, not just the outsides. This will make them last a lot longer.
Do you use wax dipping as well? The huge lifespan increase of the woodware is worth the trouble in my opinion :)
No we use paint for boxes but do wax dip our bottom boards. We have some painted boxes that are in good shape after 70 + years of constant use. I like having some colour in the beeyard and find wax dipped boxes to be pretty drab after a few years of weathering. A personal preference.
I think I seen a lift or a loader on the truck, can you give info on it please? Thanks
Hi There.
It's an Australian made loader called EZloader. We have the 300 model which has a capacity of 300kg. You can find information about them online.
What sugar syrup do you use in the spring? 1:1? 2:1?
We use 2:1 spring or fall. It keeps well.
Hi, Do you guys sell the unassembled boxes?
No we don't sell beekeeping equipment.
Can you name the bee sperm protection water?
