Good Presentation my friend, just one little question, in a basic wall you can set the center line of the wall to face of the wall, center of core , interior face etc.. but if you create a storefront wall the center line of the wall will default to center. is there a way to modify the location of the wall reference to face of system. the reason why is that when you dimension a storefront or curtainwall, you don't dimension to the center but rather dimension it to the face. please advise. thanks, ricky
I agree this is odd behavior in Revit for a curtain wall. But it’s built in.. so, to place dimensions, we typically hold our cursor over the face of the mullion and hit TAB key, the dimension string will then snap to the mullion face and not the mullion center.
Thanks..but I have one doubt. After adding millions to the curtain walls the length will automatically deduct. but I need to give proper deduction like 14 from top and bottom. when I give this by using top and bottom constraints the millions also moves with that. Can you help to find this.?
I think the dimensions for the curtain walls go from the Top and Bottom.. so we need to keep the mullions inside and not overlap the perimeter lines. I will watch the video again and see if I can detect the problem. Thanks.
Thank you so much, Mike. God bless you and your family!
Same to you! I pray you and your family are so blessed that you can't even contain it all! Amen
Thank you so much, Mike
Thank you so much but i have question why we can't draw the small arch or line when we draw the mullion profile.
