Great podcast Sistine & Sophia. You guys are amazing how you can turn rambling into meaningful conversation. 😂 London is like a sibling to New York and vice versa. As a Londoner, I’d say Dec-March is the coldest time of year, with January being the grimmest time, when daylight is a lot less and it gets darker earlier in the day. This can be challenging if you, like me are prone to bouts of depression. But British weather is changeable and we don’t see as much cold like we use to during wintertime. Usually short cold spells that come and go, followed by milder weather. :)

I never comment on these sites normally... but after hearing about your skin reaction and diagnosis, I thought I'd pass along my experience. Like you, I moved to a new city, I also started having crazy itching all over my body - especially my neck, face, scalp and 'sensitive' areas. I suffered for quite awhile. Turned out the place I moved to had water issues and all of my products were reacting negatively. I was also stressed - which didn't help. Fast forward... I changed my products including laundry detergent. I now have to use only allergy free, scent free soaps. The bigger culprit on my hair was the conditioner; my neck was ablaze and peeling (chemical burns they call them ) just from making contact with my hair. I still can't take my long hair touching my jawline and neck... Here's to healing quickly!

Sophia I have eczema as well and I’ve had it my whole life! I found a few things that have worked for me and hopefully they can will work for you as well. I like to use the Aveeno eczema therapy lotion and I put that all over after I take a shower. I also like to use skin care that either has no fragrance or has been eczema approved. One brand that is really great is first aid beauty and their cream is really good and hydrating. Using over the counter Cortizone cream is also good on flare ups. I hope this all helps!

Sofia the solution is to buy an ice roller for your face, wash your face 3 times a day, moisterize, and swim in the ocean because natural salty water is good for getting rid of pores and acne.. but i love you two and enjoy christmas ❤❤❤❤

Sistine & Sophia, I looked up classes at Hogwarts and this is what is needed for first year students.......
All first-years at Hogwarts must take seven subjects:
Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, History of Magic, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy and Herbology.
Flying lessons (on broomsticks) are also compulsory.
Do you two have a fear of flying around on a broomstick ( hmmmm ? )
Imagine going to Hogwarts and then realise you need to study like an engineer to use magic efficiently

Both of you are lovely, and desire to the both of you nothing more than the Ultimate Success. 👦👍 I try to do or go to different places to center myself. Recently, I went back to a beautiful beach 🌊🏖⛱️👦👍 I used to take someone, and when we broke, it took a long time to go back. Due to the probability, she would show up. I actually didn't think of her and didn't worry about seeing her either. I mentally eliminated her, though, wouldn't take anyone there. It was my beach and unless I meat someone their. Memories can distracted by different activities and am able to move on. Take care this winter since it may be your 1st, and happy holidays. 👦👍🎄❄️

Here is the 2nd article below on Harry Potter Wizard World of Hogwarts and Paying taxes. Sorry, but paying taxes here and there is no different. Thank you to me, some good info to update us on the next broadcast of The Unwaxed Podcast. Looks like Wizards actually have Tax Agents. 😮😊

It’s never explicitly stated, but it’s only logical that YES, wizards pay taxes.
How else would the Ministry be funded?
The Ministry, like every other government in the world, needs funds to pay its employees and “keep the lights on” (so to speak) at the Ministry building. It is undoubtedly how St. Mungo’s is funded too.
Hogwarts is also a State school-it is funded by the government, contrary to popular opinion in the Fandom. It is NOT a Private school-nobody has to directly pay to attend Hogwarts. That’s the only way that poor (and lower middle class) kids would be able to receive an education. And Rowling explicitly stated this in a Q&A session when she was asked.
So, the British Wizard World, like every other European country (and most countries in the world to varying degrees), is a mixed economy. The government provides for the basic necessities of all wizards collectively (the socialistic part of the economy) while private enterprise provides for all the rest.

Sistine & Sophia, actually my only complaint is this, wait, there are no complaints, you always do a great job, made me laugh.
Sophia, we have the same thing in common, I also have a fear of public speaking, I even took a public speaking class in college and I can be just as open in front of a tv camera as you do on this podcast.
Don't worry about your skin conditions, it's not a turn off. I do have a suggestion, try rubbing Pickle Juice on your skin, you might smell like a pickle but I hear it's a old remedy to keep rashes from breaking out. And you don't look like a toad Sophia.
Sophia, I love " Harry Potter " just as much as you do. So I would wish you away to the land of Hogwarts in a heartbeat. I think of myself as a cross of 3 Characters rolled into one, I am like ( James Potter, Tom Riddle and Cedric Diggory ) and I would use my Wizardry knowledge and wave my magical wand towards you and cast a spell on your rashes to disappear forever.
And don't feel bad, spitting up water on someone is really not that bad.
I am an athlete, I play a sport, it is very popular, it is competitive sport, either as a individual player or on a team as well. I sometimes can play this game 3 times a week. And a ball is involved in the sport I play. Can you guess my sport Sophia? Sistine can take a guess.
