HAHA great video man! The reaction is classic! Im not much for green paint unless its a John Deere Tractor but your bike is sharp! Unique and probably turns heads everywhere. Im still riding my old 2002 Harley Wide Glide with a carbureted engine but i will buy a brand new one in the next few years. I have to say I'm very interested in Victory now. Those cross countries are sharp!
I got a 2012 cross country, and the stock pipes were butt ugly, and did sound like a lawn mower too, installed blk pipes off amazon, looks 100% better and sounds awesome, don't know who at polaris thought the stock junk sounded good. Must have been the def guy, congrats on upgrade. Bike looks great bro
How loud are the Vance and Hines mufflers when riding at 70 mph and with out the radio playing. On a scale of 1- 10. The number 1 being the quietest exhaust sound and the number 10 being the loudest exhaust sound.
No problem. I am really enjoying these pipes. I am still being told that they are louder than my wife's Harley. Inwould highly recommend these. The install is pretty strait forward. The only problem I had was with the bolt holes not lining up perfectly. I actually ended up breaking a bold in the threads. But that was my learning curve. Lol. After that, it wasn't much of an issue
Long time has pass. Great video. Please tell us the following : 1) did you end up upgrading the air filter 2) did you use a fuel pak or other similar to it to regulate the air/fuel ratio. Thx
Tim. I just now saw this and really like the deep sound it gives. I have the exact model and color. Tell me how hard was the installation? What was the price and model of pipes then? I check back often for answers
hey Tim i just bought the same pipes.. just wondering if at high speed the sound was 2 much for long drives to deal with.. my question is.. would i get bored of the pipes for being too loud?
+pineda2081 the good news, they are not too loud at cruising speed. In my opinion, they are just right. Not too loud and not to quite. But at the same time, if you need to be heard , flip that wrist a little on the throttle and you still have enough sound left over to catch their attention. As far as getting bored, each to their own. I haven't yet.
I'm now finding out and should of known better that I need a high flow air filter. these pipes are high flow. so I lost gas mileage and a lot of piping. this is because I'm not getting enough air. the new filter should take care of that. so keep that in mind
I went to the Victory dealership, and they had a bike where they decored/debaffled the pipes. That thing sounded mean and throaty. I almost put money down right there. Lol...
LOL!!! Dude's reaction to hearing them for the first time.... like a kid in a toy store! Priceless. ;)
I love the look on his face!!! Freaking awesome. That reaction was priceless! I want those pipes now! SOLD!
Beautiful beautiful bike man! and sounds awesome

at 70, I would give it a solid 7. give it throttle at 70 a good 9. I can still hear my radio

Thanks for the feed back.

Nope did nothing other than.just the pipes. But this bile is long gone. I ride Indian now
tim mullins thanks for your reply. I have been thinking about Indian too but the ones I like are out of my price range. Ride safe
love his reaction
Tim. I just now saw this and really like the deep sound it gives. I have the exact model and color. Tell me how hard was the installation? What was the price and model of pipes then? I check back often for answers
the install was very easy. they were Vance and Hines slip inside. too be honest, I don't remember much. I traded her in for an 2017 Indian chieftain.
I'm late here do u still have the bike
what else was done to the motor? was it a dyno tune of a flash card tune and what model V&H pipes are those? are they slip on or full length?
I just bought a 2016 cross country 8ball I really dig the sound your pipes make....we're did you buy them and what model are the pipes

Sounds good whats the part number for the exhaust?
Larry Bowen, wish Nichols remember. This bike is long gone. Traded her in for an 2017 Indian Chieftain
On top of face reaction, the tank top kills it!!
What Series Pipe is it? Model #
+Leo J Correia I have the packing sheet here with me now. All it says is Chrome Hi-output Slip-on mufflers.
+tim mullins so they're mufflers and not pipes?
Slip ons. They do not go all the way to the heads. I have had them on for over hear now I believe and they are only sounding better and better
Leo J Correia
what kind of slip on are they

If you do that you will need a Power Commander it will really open it up for, Great looking bike
+Dinky Dot thanks for the advice. i will look into that. thanks for the compliment on the bike too!
tim mullins
Nice sound
Hell yes
Cool face at start up!!
thx man. the video does no justice to the sound. I need to change my air filter now to match the high flow pipes
