Did he say he was shooting 5s for woodcock?!?!? No wonder you weren't hitting many! Woodcock go down easy with just one or two pellets. 7 1/2s are BIG on woodcock, even in dense cover, IMO. Admittedly, just getting to the birds in that cover would make shouldering a gun a challenge but that's the grouse/woodcock I'm familiar with. Gotta love it!
@@steveillingworth5120 hahahah. mother nature. She's in control. I would really say anytime in November. If you have a good dog and boots you will be successful.
At 10:10 you can see a guy throw a bird before they shoot. Maybe it was something else but it really looked like a bird not sure.
Thanks a lot. :D
Always a massive challenge trying to capture grouse/woodcock on camera. Pretty good job boys!
Awesome. Another Fine Episode.

Maybe you can tell but at 10:10 you can see a guy throw what looked to be a bird before they shoot. Did you catch that ?

@@uplandguncompany4183 Thanks. Pineridge has been on my bucket list for a long time. I’ll start planning a trip now for next year.
Awesome hunting but at a $1000 a day it’s beyond my budget.
Drug store cowboys, can't get game without a guide holding their hand
