Great videos Bill! Thank you! I grew up on a small four row farm. About 140 acres. We had a JD B, a JD 730 diesel with electric start, a JD 60 on the farmhand loader, and a JD 3010 diesel.
I have an old loader for my 60 but it is a #50 loader. Those loaders sure do a lot of work in our old barns that the new loaders will not fit into. Thanks for the videos Bill.
You sure had to duck every pass into the cattle shed to keep from bonking your head. The dogs had some free entertainment looking for wayward creatures. Never a dull moment around a farm.
Thanks for sharing the video Bill. Ole popping Johnny's are still able to get it done. Glad you got some rain and hopefully you can get some more in the next few days. Yes sir Augusta is a Christian company and they have pretty good corn. Take care.
Great Video...OLD-BARN has just enough Room to Do the JOB🚜👍...We have a 1956 820 with Rice&Cane Tires that My G-Paw Gott before I was Born in 1972...He had an L.P.720 also that DAD is trying to Hunt-Down...have a J D. M.T. also and 1977 4230,1961-3010&4010,Allis-Chalmers W.D., CAT 933 Traxcavator, and the 1979 4400 Combine...I LOVE the VARIETY You have Laying-Around👍🙏
Ohh ...I Forgot to Mention the 1979 I-H 1086 Turbo... probably because I'm Nott a Red-Fan but It is a Nice TRACTOR anyway ...DAD bought to Use to Keep Hours Off of His GREEN🚜Machines!!! Hehee🤣....Wish You Lived closer to Michigan=I would LOVE to Roam-Around @ Your-Place👍
Bill the acrobat/ contortionist! Running a hand clutch, steering wheel, and loader controls with only 2 hands! In the 50's, you could have charged admission to the class on how to do it. The Good Lord knows I couldn't do it! I'm spoiled by the new stuff, grew up on 2030's with 48 loaders!
Amazing just how much bed pack and how heavy an old #45 loader will lift. Toughest part is trying to be quick in hitting the hydraulics, shift to reverse and run the clutch, then dump, back away dropping the loader to reset the bucket, shift into 2nd or 3rd and head back into the bed pack. Any plans to get back out to Tennessee? I'll bet Grandma is ready and hopefully the Suburban will cause less stress.
We got our 720 diesel out last week to merge silage. Today my kids wanted to get the 620 out as well as the B. All the mowing here is done with a 1964 4020 with a John deere 530 moco
My first solo tractor drive was spreading manure with a jd b at 6 years old

Another great video Bill. By chance will you be making a video of you cultivating your corn?
Thanks, yes I plan to.🤠
Love them 4010s. We had one back home. I see yours is repowered.
👍👍
Looking good Bill, you must not expect an early frost ? No monitor for the corn Planter ?

I enjoyed the video. Will you chop the corn or pick it
Going to pick it. Thanks.
I would love to have a penny a pound for all the manure ive hauled with a 34 spreader hooked to a 630
Do you do soil samples or just use the spreader and docks before planting your seed
Yes, we do some soil samples, but I can tell the areas of the fields that need the most manure and spread it heavier there.
does the 4010 have a combine engine in it.
Yes it does.🤠
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 i tried to post a link to our 4010 pulling tractor with a combine motor but it was removed.
