There are some Finnish names who elevated the Finnish music production somewhere around the turn of the millennium. Like E.g. Mikki Kunttu who was responsible for staging E.g. the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, 2013 and 2016 and who then went on to work for opera houses around the world. Nowadays Finnish artist can rely on production being on a high level. Couple of Jenni's song: "Jenni Vartiainen - Missä muruseni on" and "Jenni Vartiainen - En haluu kuolla tänä yönä ". Couple of Elastinen's songs: "Fintelligens - Mikä Boogie" and "Elastinen - Supervoimii". Here's a music video by Mikki Kunttu: "Chisu - Ihana".

Johanna is easily the best female singer from Finland.
I always think this song as a love song. It tells the story of an artist (like those two) who is missing their partner who is at home. The artist wants them to know that without a hesitation, they would let all this go (their career) just to be with them.

Jenni and Elastinen are very good friends, and I think they have even dated each other when they were younger. My daughter was a huge fan of Jenni some 10-15 years ago.
See, I think this is kinda related to the story "Pessi and Illusia", where one is a child of light and the other a child of shadow; by Yrjö Kokko. It is a classic in Finland, redone and reimagined many times of how Light and Dark fall for each other/in love.

Great reaction! You guys should react to Cheek Valot Sammuu (live) Lahden Mäkimonttu. Cheek was easily the biggest artist in Finland and that is his last song in his last live performance and there is some real passion in that one.

I just cant understand Finnish rap. Well any rap. Elastinen was my wife´s class mate and we both dont like his music. Jenni is ok but i dont listen him. I need more NW, HIM or whatever Finnish Rock. Also of course any good rock is good. The stage is better than the song imo.
