The most identical song is up here on UA-cam as “わらべうた かぞえった. (お正月の歌)” which translates to Warabe Uta : A New Year’s song, there are many lullabies like this which I believe is why the kny version is different, it isn’t sang the same in other places but from my research I’m sure Lively Merry is just a “special” version for the anime

This was definitely my favourite part of the entire episode, it was so so beautiful and really set an eerie yet comforting vibe to the scene. Not having one or two kids around can be written off as coincidence, but if most of the family wasn't around, he would have realised it was a trap.
