This installation looks like a massive undertaking..I wouldn't want to do this myself. How much do you suppose it would cost to have it put in by a professional?
I dont know friend. I make this with a friend. When I started ,can be difficult but its very simple. Just follow the steps. And will be ok . Now,the professional here in portugal you pay something like 250€ just for installation. And the display are another €€€. So I made this for my own risk. And everything is ok and works great. If you interested , just follow this video. I search on UA-cam, and can't see any video to explain the installation for this car. So I decided to do a video for help another people interested in install this android on audi a6 c6.
Where did you buy the 10 inch dash from?
A few more questions. Is there any special tools required to do this? How long time did it take? How is the rear camera mounted?

@@MalakasTV91 Does android music stops when you switch to original mmi menu? For example, if you press some button of original MMI, does android sound stops?
How is the fit? Aesthetically how does it integrate into the dash? It looks like half of the gas gauge is obstructed by the screen. Is it?
No friend. You can see gas gauge. But the passenger can't see. But the driver can see. Its a large screen but a good experience

Hola tengo un audi q7 del 2006 y compre el mismo equipo de 10 pulgadas en aliexpress hasta aquí todo bien lo monte sin libro o manual de instrucciones porque no lo llevaba el equipo funciona pero ni comparación con el de usted cámara trasera solo veo media, lo del climatizador de aire no sale, es porque no està bien configurado o porque es una imitación ?? por favor donde podria comprar un manual de configuración y montaje o alguna web donde se pueda ver las configuraciones paso a paso le agradeceria mucho,un saludo desde España

Great video, thanks for taking the time to record everything, I use your video as a reference to do mine, unfortunatly my screen is not working , I don't know why , AC plugs can not be mixed with MMI plugs, just wonder if I plug it wrong or if the fuse in fuse box was dead from the begining, I still have radio, CD player and AC working well, the buttons on the side of the screen , the fonctions are messy , at least the glove box opens.

Does this replace the MMI computer box? I have purchased a 10,25 Android multimedia system for my Audi A6 C6 2007 but then I found out that my car does not have an MMI computer box so I could not plug my new android system. If I purchased this; does it replace that box?

The all system is android,but you can connect the iphone with app "easy connection" and you will have os version on display.

I think you have to change all wires cables to put this system
This is only for MMI 3G

@@MalakasTV91 I got it going not with the RED, YELLOW and BLACK wire. But not my fan keeps blowing hot air in the right side eventhough the qlimacontrol is set to lowest degrees

For me car is more important than this display , all oil and fluids changed , all belts replaced, lower and upper arms replaced , air suspensions replaced , all 6 Injectors replaced, now I have almost brand new car , this display is BS a toy only for kids.
