Hello Akshit, you are the only owner in my knowledge that has spoken about these issues on any platform. I also own a 2020 GTX+ DCT.
DCT is not made for India, especially not suited for bumper to bumper traffic and it does not bode well on hills.
I always shift to Neutral and try not to creep in traffic as much as possible. I have found that the DCT needs at least 4km/hr speed to properly engage the gear without any slippage/jerks. And that the gearbox is very jumpy at cold temperatures, so I have to switch ON the car and let the oil circulate and let it get hot for 2-3 mins before heading out.
The brakes are subpar with no brake bite. I have found them to modulate the car speed better than bring it to a complete stop. Hyundai brakes are generally spongy, but these are the worst. Proper braking starts after 95% pedal travel, and the actual bitecomes at the last 2~3%, thus bringing the car to a halt with a sudden nose dive. And those Goodyear tyres are very pathetic, mine worn out before the car hit 30k kms. Solution to manage(not eliminate) the issue is:
1) Get Continental u6, I upsized to 225/55/R17 it is in flush with the bodyline and can be accommodated in the stock rims.
2) Get Brembo Brake pads, I got one pair for 4.7k. It is expensive when compared to OEM, but there is a noticeable difference.
I hope this goes out to all the owners. If I remember correctly the DCT alone costs around 4 Lakhs for the whole set pre labour.

Petrol or Diesel Manual ?
Ofcourse ride quality is very good but build quality of car isn’t good and Yes black color is hard to maintain but you can save your money on PPF by choosing partial PPF
If you have a covered with shed and secured parking then don’t spend money on PPF
And buy some good microfibre cloths and never use them dry on your car directly First wash the car or make it properly wet then clean with this cloth so less soil marks and stains will come on your black Color

Don’t put cover on car if it has dust on it otherwise dust will make many scratches
And use high power blower to clean the dry dust which u can buy for 1500-2000 it helps to clean the engine also

Yes it’s there so u can buy ivt as well as dct but make sure that you are taking extended warranty as much as possible up to 5 years
As many of the issues are now resolved in 1.5L engines which was present in 1.4L engines earlier

But still you want some other car then we have only 3 options
1) Grand Vitara/Urban Cruiser Hyryder (TC)
2) Astor (CVT)
3) Honda Elevate (CVT)
In these 3, I will prefer Elevate , it’s more powerful
