    confused words: sometime, sometimes, some time, some times

      Yes, live bands, live TV shows, live sport, and even live animals as opposed to dead ones.

    omg. yes. i've seen native speakers confuse this a lot. i think it's a bit easier to explain if you use lyve and live

    A teacher who can't pronounce the word 'pronunciation' correctly shouldn't be teaching. It really shows their level of knowledge.

    This word/words is one of my biggest gripes about English, and I've been speaking English my entire life. Live, the verb, should have been spelled liv and we would not have a problem. What's worse, when reading, you may need to read forward to know it's an adjective. I will say from experience I find in regular language it's used more as the adjective. In case of News, TV, Broadcasts, or Video Streams.

    I am not sure if it is correct but when I differentiate the two in text, I use "Live' " as in live' music or live' band versus I am going to live out my years in a cabin in the mountains. What do you think?
