This word/words is one of my biggest gripes about English, and I've been speaking English my entire life. Live, the verb, should have been spelled liv and we would not have a problem. What's worse, when reading, you may need to read forward to know it's an adjective. I will say from experience I find in regular language it's used more as the adjective. In case of News, TV, Broadcasts, or Video Streams.
Thank you for sharing this to us. I have a question to ask you. Could we use "live" (lyve) as a verb? For example, do you have available time to live a video? Thanks for your answer.
Thank you so much, Ronnie for your help. I'm Fr. Leon Ngandu, I'm Learning English. So I have the difficulte about these two words: "still" and "yet". How to use that? Would you like to explain me, please.
I am not sure if it is correct but when I differentiate the two in text, I use "Live' " as in live' music or live' band versus I am going to live out my years in a cabin in the mountains. What do you think?
