I grew up in Davenport. The flooding shown is just above the normal water line. It is the normal area that floods every few years. The ballpark is dry because they built it higher. Robert Ray is looking pretty silly walking in these areas. Go a mile or 2 down river and you would find homes that also flood periodically because they built them below the flood plane. But nothing shown in the video is out of the norm.
Dear People - The Mississippi River has flooded this way for the last, lets say 1000 years or so. And just in case anyone living there has not figured this out, it will keep doing it. Stop building next to the river.

I've always wondered how the map of the Earth would look if we did not keep unflooding areas. Let alone what ancient cultures had to deal with in these situations. I personally don't believe in 'global warming' based on the geology books I've read and researching the year of 536 AD. However there is clear evidence that extreme weather conditions can occur in a very short period of time, dozens of examples before humans started to pollute the planet.

The cost of dealing with the impact of Climate Change will be much greater than the cost of dealing with the cause. We must stop adding more fossil fuels to the climate fire. Phase out coal power plants and replace them with wind and solar energy. Individuals, businesses and governments need to be educated about climate change and how they can reduce fossil fuel use.
