Blast from the past. My cousins used to live in a house across the expressway from the drive in. You could sit in their back yard in lawn chairs and watch listening on a portable radio!

That is so cool. My little town of Lancaster ohio has a drive in movie theater. My daughter actually worked there 2 summers ago and she loved it.

We love the Silver Moon Drive In! If you go back, you should try their pizza. It is a staple of our drive in visits.

I was going to comment " Try with the windshield down " but ya'll all ready had it in mined . I love it . Do the same with my TJ . Love Stake-N-Shake but all ours in Virginia closed except Northern Virginia around DC but we don't go up there .
I keep art trays (from Michaels 7.99) in my car to eat on when Restaurant's don't have the inside open. So love the Drive In, haven't been in years. Closes one to me that is still open is about 2 hours away. :( I remember our Drive In Theater back in the day had a very large playground in front of the screen. Awesome Video

Aladdin was the movie I last saw in that drive in a couple of years ago. The price of admission was the big thing going for them.

I remember opening night at the harvest moon drive in, I went with my girlfriend and saw evil dead, but missed most of the movie!
Great video guys I miss the drive-ins only one driving left in the midwest is over in Illinois and Belleville Illinois almost all the Steak and Shakes are almost gone here in St Louis they're taking them a lot of men taken out of business
Rick I think if you put on the parking brake in park. it will turn off the parking lights on your Jeep...
If you guys are freezing at 60 degrees, you should never leave Florida! ;) My teenager refuses to wear anything but shorts until the temperature drops below 50 degrees. Even then it's a grudging acquiescence, and he'll usually push his pants up past his knees anyways. LOL
If there is a next time..... you should try applying the parking break first before the vehicles ignition is turned on. That should keep the headlights off. It shouldn't bother if the ignition is push to start or turn key . There should always be a small trick to keep those pesky lights off.
There are some new vehicles with electric push start with no logical way to fully turn off running lights, ya need to ask your dealership you bought the car from, or search for a youtube video how to do it! Almost anytype of tip or trick car maintenance is there for your make n model :)
Should be able to turn them off by flipping switch from Auto to the O... at least my town and country does it

I'd love to do this but slightly concerned about sitting behind a truck pumping out diesel fumes for a couple of hours straight, do many cars leave their engines on?
They make the larger vehicles/ diesel trucks park in the back.
