It has really low recoil, this would be a great first firearm, even with your XL hands. Also, this week I plan to post a video about the best .32 acp ammo for the money to shoot with at the range to train - as well as what the best ammo for the money to carry with is! Actual shooting footage showing low recoil will be included. Hit the subscribe button for me and you’ll see it pop up on your notifications soon! :)
@@bambaclat03 Ah, yes it’s a really short gun so if you’re shooting “dirty” ammo you might get a little powder on your face, but that also depends what the ventilation is like at your indoor range. I didn’t have that issue with mine and the ammo I brought to the test. I’ll check some other reviews to see what they are saying.
2 magazines, huh!? Mine only came with 1, when I got it back in June. Good call not dry-firing it with no cap. I dried-fired mine on a spent cartridge (like the user manual recommends) and it busted the firing pin.
@@Juneof1944 yes they come with 2 magazines now! I will post another video as I have 4 different types of .32 to shoot and one well established brand of .32 simply does not work in this gun, I think viewers would find that useful. Also, I did get some Tipton snap caps on eBay to dry fire with and I have had no issues using those, that is terrible that the firing pin busted on yours, will the Beretta warranty cover it?
They don't make long extended mags yet, but at least the mags that it comes with are not flush mount and are extended a bit, and they are also textured at the base give you a place to put your pinky.
Why are the fore and back sight so huge on a pistol designed to be effective within 20 yards? All they do is prevent you from using the gun by getting hooked on your pocket.
Haha yes, so on this model the sights are tall so they can help the shooter to aim and “look over” any suppressor that you have threaded onto the end of the barrel. The sights will get hooked on a pocket holster if you don’t use the right one, although I haven’t had trouble with them hooking onto my pocket once I’ve cleared the holster. I have another video showing how to draw it from a pocket holster with a twist and that works.
@@JeffGillis-lv1rz No, a suppressor is not included with any normal pistol. Beretta did offer a fake “practice” suppressor on a different older model, which escapes me at the moment as far as which model that was - is that what you are referring to?
@@williammcgill1562 I’m actually going to make a video soon on 4 different types of ammo and what works best for this gun. I have already experienced some well known ammo that jams almost every other round! What ammo have you been using?
I’m thinking of getting this as my first firearm, only problem would be my xl hands. I think it could be cool to learn how to shoot with

@@shootingscience will do, could you also talk about the carbon blow back issue that I see on some other reviews

@@shootingscience That brings up another question: why would you need a suppressor if you are not a professional killer?
With the “get home bag” version a suppressor is not included?
