I don’t normally comment on videos but I rather enjoyed this video. Very relaxing and I enjoyed the “one sided” conversation..
There are a lot of pros and cons regarding work from home. The pros are as mentioned, it’s more laxed, you don’t have anyone hanging over your shoulder , save money on gas and mileage on your vehicle, saving time, not having to be stuck in traffic etc
The cons are it’s hard to separate being at home and constantly being on the ball. Especially when you have a family (I have two younger kids) it’s wonderful to be around them and in their presence but I am a Flight Coordinator and charter sales, most times you have to be proactive/reactive and it’s hard to say no to your kids and try to explain that you are busy which can sometimes be difficult and heart breaking as they see daddy’s home but daddy isn’t available when they want.
The other issue is once again the separation between home and work, because you are doing your job from home sometimes it doesn’t allow you to switch off from work so you tend to work later than needed.
Productivity always depends on the person- if you are a professional procrastinator than I would suggest don’t work from home lol as that makes a dangerous combination.
Also CEOs don’t like WFH because you aren’t present in front of them, I just had a CEO who was like that - wanted us to be on the tvs, on video chat etc where I felt that to be quite invasive and not that I have anything to hide but my home is my personal space .. if he didn’t see you, you obviously were slacking off and that was never the case..

On the overexposed thing, are you filming on a phone? -or something that shoots HDR? I think it is the tendency for HDR video to make the screen physically very bright on modern HDR phone screens even if the image is properly lit and not “overexposed”. If so, it may be worthwhile not to capture an HDR file at all. Hopefully that may be useful for preventing those sorts of comments!
