- Ey up everyone and welcome back to the north for a new series starting today. We're going to be starting a playthrough of Crown Wars: The Black Prince, a turn based strategy RPG with, you guessed it, classes and character customisation. You love to see it!
Crown Wars is set in alternate Medieval France (I only say alternate due to the general magic and abilities) as we have to gather our forces and ride out against the evil that plagues the land of France. There will be character death, there will be character sacrifice but we will have our victory!

Wow I was on the edge of my seat, so concerned Annabelle's first mission would have had her renamed Annabelle 2.0 ....
With the amount of gold u're getting per mission now, might be worth sending new level 1 characters for the 8 day training in the barracks so they don't have such sink or swim first missions.
Love that Fenris got to join Bagan on his first mission. And that they help each other out so much. They are both old DnD characters of mine 😊 btw love Fenris new helmet
I'm catching up mate :D Keep up the good work. And yes the 10 rounds battle is just not fun at all.
The Embolden skill can't be used on self but when used on an ally it effects Target & Urself, so use it on whomever is in range & u can cleanse ur own debuffs even if ur target ally doesn't need it.
I was hoping he'd use it on Annabelle at the end but thankfully the mission ended before Annabelle took anymore damage from the bleeding/burning they were stacking on her. I don't think she would have survived her first mission if it didn't end when it did.
Can any other classes use firearms or is that exclusive to the Gunner class? Might be nice to see more then just 2 weapon options for the Flayers ... Compared to the damage/range of the other ranged weapons the gun looks pretty impressive & I love that there's finally a reusable skill that can heal people, could be a real game changer especially on missions without turn timers.
Does the Gunner get any armor upgrades? U visited the forge but don't think u checked the armor tab.
Can Miss Missy have a Crossbow please? Xbow can penetrate armor but seems lacking in crits & low damage output. Execution gives guaranteed crits, assisted by the bleed chance from Blinding Peck. The teamwork bonus with armor pen will hopefully yield some more exciting damage numbers. Hawk Eye & Recon will help with accuracy on those hard to hit shots, or enemies with high reflexes.
Lvl 1 Coordinated Strike, 2 Execution, 3 Hawk Eye, 4 Blinding Peck, 5 Recon, 6 Feral Rage.

I literally started avoiding skirmishes, because one group always setts off the other on smaller maps. It's such a BS move by the game :D
Even though you're doing great in a mission, setting off the other group always results in someone dying. The sheer numbers just overload you at one point.
I try to take AoE heavy squads for those missions, so I can mass fire/poison grenade them & Halberd/Great sword any who get through the barrage when they try to gang up.
