The SIM800L module is a compact GSM/GPRS communication module widely used in electronics projects. Operating on quad-band frequencies, it supports SMS messaging, voice calls, and GPRS data transfer. With a SIM card slot and antenna connection, it interfaces through AT commands over UART communication. Popular for its simplicity and versatility, the module is often integrated into systems requiring mobile connectivity for applications such as remote monitoring, IoT devices, and basic communication functionalities.
Now, you can control your electrical loads and monitor sensors by sending a message from any cell phone using the Arduino and GSM Sim800L module.
You might be wondering if anyone can control loads or monitor sensors by sending a message from any cell phone, then anyone could misuse it.
Well, that's not the case. I have designed this system with careful consideration. To control any load or request the value of a sensor, you need to enter a password. And you know, without a password, nobody would be able to control anything or request the sensor value.
And the most amazing thing about this project is that you can send control and request commands from any cell phone. And my designed system will reply back to you on that same number. When Arduino receives a message, it extracts the sender's cell number and replies back to that number. Isn't it amazing? Of course, it is.

Very informative as usual;
But please reduce the effects too much them makes the video less tolerable, I find it very disturbing and distracting, some sounds effect and blurry images really affects my vision.

Ya it works on 5v. I checked it at 4.4v and it didn't work.
How many volts we need to give sim 800l ,sometimes it irritates me 😢
you explain very well. sir i wanna know in my country we have 5G and 4G but people said that this module work only on 2G network is it possible to used it in my country that using 5G and 4G
