I love your homeschooling style of really tailoring curriculum + morning basket around Emily and her interests and attention span, etc. I love your theme--you always find just the coolest manipulatives! I love your background with the flowers by the way.
So glad Emily is going to be doing the intros still my kiddos and I can't imagine not seeing her face after all these months of morning basket videos 🤗
I love how you describe the difference between morning basket and unit study!!! Last year was a mess for us and I think we tried to put too much into our morning basket that we didn't end up enjoying. This year I'm trying to bring back to the joy of homeschool so your explanation was such a huge help. Thanks so much!!!
If you were not a great homeschool Mom, you would make the best professional shopper. You find the cutest things and then I buy them after I see them in your videos.
Yes!! We have a morning basket and the point of that is family time and waking up our minds as a family unit. They match our unit studies but they help us start our day gently and together. 🥰 So, for us, morning baskets are PART of our unit studies. I love how flexible homeschooling is. Customized to each child and family! I still get excited whenever I see these morning basket videos in my subscription feed! 🧺 💕
Thank you so much for that much needed clarification on the purpose. That is such a helpful reminder as we dive in this year on why we do morning basket
I love your morning basket videos. They are super helpful! Have you ever done a video highlighting how you find the different materials for each theme? Like how do I find games pertaining to earth science without knowing the actual games?
Really appreciate this, particularly the thoughtful part about purpose. I realize as I'm planning my homeschool year I've started to think of my morning basket as a catch all, like for all the little miscellaneous subjects that maybe we have trouble fitting in elsewhere. I can see how for some homeschoolers that might work, but for us, it can create friction. Yes to a gentle, fun start to ease us into our studies each day. Absolutely. I'm going to shift gears I think as a result. Thank you! Could you speak more to your all time favorite activities to keep hands busy? I like this concept a lot. And your suggestions were good.
Love these unit lessons. I really wish we could afford them right now but it’s been a really hard past few months and we need to put food on the table still. Hopefully u will have another sale in the future. They look so beautiful 😻
What a great video! Those picture book recommendations are awesome, and I am heading to my library website to put as many of them on hold as I can for our upcoming unit. Thank you so much for always sharing such great resources.

We are studying astronomy via Apoligia so will be looking up some of these extras! Also using your free unit study downloads -so thanks!
I love how you and your daughter work together to make all the decisions even your videos :D

Where do you get the brain box games? I don't see it on Amazon and we're doing space too!
I bought all of mine from Miller Pads & Paper during a homeschool convention.
