Miele fridge leaking and pooling water at the bottom on the floor - How to fix

We discovered pools of water near the door of our Miele freestanding refrigerator on the floor, the drainage channel hole was blocked and causing the leak. Fortunately this is an easy fix you can do yourself without calling anyone out.

Just to add, sometimes it freezes up and freezes debris too. Mile advised trickling some hot water down there to de-thaw and subsequently loosen stuck bits this did work.

My miele fridge freezer gas the same issue except that the water freezes at the drain hole. Despite cleaning the drain hole this still happens. Why? How can I check the circulating fan in the fridge is working?

Is there always a bucket at the back? .. even for mounted fridges that where you can't access it? That seems ridiculous to me :D Thanks for the vid ;)

yeah it will have a container for condensation.

@@GastonTheStallion you could try a long piece of pipe and syringe down the condensate hole/tube.
