- The Boys teased this was coming at the end of episode three when Homelander’s split personalities call out to him from the mirror. He’s deeply unhappy, duh. Killing people or being worshipped isn’t bringing him the ecstasy he’s used to. Nothing is working, not even the anti-Starlight (Erin Moriarty) campaign he’s begun with Sister Sage (Susan Heyward). So the more evil version encourages him to go back to the start, which leads him to the underground lab he was raised in. And we get a live-action glimpse at it after learning more about his origins in The Boys: Diabolical, Prime Video’s 2022 animated spinoff. If you didn’t see it (it’s a good show!), don’t worry: “Wisdom Of The Ages” gets you up to speed.
I love how they’re both in a mutal agreement not to tattle on each other so neither of them gets destroyed by homelander!
It’s funny how Homelander’s own dickishness worked against him. You’d think what with A-Train stealing his Compound V, Ashley would have the higher ground since Homelander would have bigger fish to fry than concern himself over who left a dukie in his toilet. Except he really is THAT petty that Ashley would been in just as much trouble as A-Train is, maybe even worse.
My question is can’t homelander literally smell her ass in his own bathroom?

If Homelander can identify Hughie based on the smell of his sweat then he might be able to identify Ashley based on the smell of her shit. In which case Ashley is fucked.

Am I trippin for thinking he’s barley redeemable? Homelander and butcher are wayyyyy past that convo but A train deserves to at least live but not a luxurious or dreamy life. He deserves to do time first then live an honest shallow life afterwards
@@JoeJoe-yn5lc I actually think an ending like that would be fitting like maybe he publicly comes out and confesses to his crimes and does time in a way showing his Brother he is serous in what he tried to tell him and also giving him his wish he had last season of finally seeing a supe being held accountable publicly.

@@spencerreid2086 love that idea the original 7 can split up in different ways by the end Starlight continues as an actual hero, Maeve goes into hiding, Black noir persona gets put away for good, A train first hero ever to straight up step out and sabotage his career by confessing to everything, the deep dies by being an idiot and Translucent already dead as the consequence of being a false Hero. As for Homelander he takes one last stand against Butcher and suffers the worst fate.

@@serdgeedgerunner He has heightened super senses, even if she went back to flush it he can still smell it. And you know what'd happen if he catches someone disrespecting him, he might even force her to eat it or something.

A-Train's character development is really something. He went from a compound V junkie who blamed every bad thing happening to him on everyone to risking his life for someome he once wanted to kill.

She wants to blackmail him, how doesn't this make sense? Usually, when you have leverage over someone and you wanna blackmail them, your first card needs to be letting them know you have leverage.
