In conclusion, the Napoleonic Wars is the culmination of European tribal wars because Europe, my friend, is too crowded! (To conquer Europe the way Napoleon did was massive)
There is a time for everything and what I did as a joke turned out to be a game saver for the HRE. I brought a 1.4k combat gen of the grenardiers joking about it as the HRE has a lot of very powerful and much more cost effective combat gens available. He ended up being super worth it as he best the guys in the house, a unit outside too and later charged the cannons down (yes that was the house unit) and his inspired are probably the reason the melee all around the house didn't go horribly for my HRE troops, which as Pope said are really not good at the whole stabbing people up close thing. Later standing at a distance in a firefight, slowly grinding down the enemy. That's what they are good at
That house unfortunately glitched out so 2 units in there decided to ignore each other, ended up routing my general and on seeing this tried to fix it only for the unit to route loosing the building.
NGL that kinda saved my bacon there. Odd as I never seen that bug before or after. But maybe it was due to the units entering roughly around the same time (your french slightly earlier but also being engaged by cav so maybe all that made the unit AI not fully comprehend the situation. Idk Either way a good fight and in hindsight I was very happy to have taken that one stupidly expensive grenadier combat gen (1.4k Gold). Normally I wouldn't even really consider investing that much into a single gren but it was worth it this time
@@SomeWiseGuy.happened in a don game recently my leger and carabiners race the Russians to the building and got in before the Russians but both glitched and ignored each other with the Russians taking the windows and my men the stair areas
